Mina was at war with herself, torn between forgiving Taehyung and putting everything behind her or dismiss him completely. The love she had for him was starting to win the battle but common sense was gaining on it, convincing her that he will never change and will continue to lie to her.

"Taehyung I..." Mina started, tears beginning to gather in her eyes. It hurt her, it really did, to have to let go of someone that she cherished so dearly. Though she knew it was for the best, every cell in her body was screaming for her not to do it.

"Please Mina, don't do this to me. To us. We can get through this you just need to trust me." Taehyung pleaded, fear coursing through his veins rapidly. The realisation of what Mina was about to do hit Taehyung so hard in the chest that he was left staggering and gasping for breath.

"I'm sorry Taehyung, I don't think I can do this anymore. You had no reason to lie to me about going to that party and the time before about hanging out with your friends. Do you know how much it hurt to see you dance with those other girls?" She yelled loudly, tears now flowing down her face in small canals.

Taehyung was shocked by the volume and intensity of her words. Not once had he heard Mina raise her voice like this before and it intimidated him. But deep down Taehyung knew that he deserved much more than a screaming match.

"No I don't and I'm sorry. I'm sorry for not being true to my word and being honest with you. If i'm being honest, I can't seem to tell you the truth. Like, the truth just physically won't leave my mouth whenever i'm talking to you and I don't know why. Just, let me fix this and I swear i'll be better and i'll try harder." Taehyung said while getting down on his knees, resting his head on Mina's thighs and letting his tears drip on to her sweats.

"The thing is Taehyung, if the roles were reversed you wouldn't accept my apology and you know it. I think we should split ways here and stop hurting each other." Mina sighed, letting her hand travel down to his hair and her fingers to run through it. She had always loved running her fingers through his hair and feeling the silky locks fall through her grasps. This sent a pang of hurt through her chest as she accepted that it would probably be the last time that she did it.

"That's not t-true." Taehyung said with an edge to his voice, sounding like he was trying to convince himself too. Mina smiled sadly and removed her hand from his hair, a whimper leaving Taehyung's mouth as she did.

This wasn't how Taehyung had wanted their relationship to go. Taehyung had truly believe that he had changed for her but it was as if something was holding him back, preventing him from being who he wants to be. After deciding that there was only way to settle things, Mina asked Taehyung a question that he didn't think he would ever hear.

"Kim Taehyung, do you love me?"
