Our love story (NCIS:LA~Densi fanfic)

Chapter 14

Katie's pov:

"Shit.." That's all I could say. The whole place was covered in wires. And not those big wires you can easily avoid but these almost-not-visible-to-the-eye size wires. And if you touch the wrong wire, it will set off the bomb which is connected to one of the wires and it will blow the whole warehouse up and send us straight to heaven's gates, or hell's, I don't know anything about these gates.. Anyways, while we were working on a plan to get through the wires, we heard a voice:
"Oh hello there. I've been waiting for you" A man's voice echoed in the warehouse.

"Fuck you.." I whispered quietly and I heard Mila holding a laugh. It made me smile for some reason.

Then suddenly all the wires snapped. I was holding my breath and closed my eyes, waiting for the bomb to go off, but it never did. Thank god. But I should have realized the wires were only there for show and something worse was about to happen...

Mila's pov:

Okay this is great. I am not dead yet even though the wires snapped. Wait, hold that thought. There is now six lasers pointing towards us and then the situation becomes clear, there were six machinegun barrels pointing towards us. Well hit me with a pound of cocaine I did not see that coming.

"Fuckin' hell.." was all I could say before my back hit the floor and the guns went off. Katie was laying on top of me and I tried to think something not inappropriate but I couldn't do that.

"Okay this might be a bad timing but would you maybe like to grab a coffee or something someday?" I ask before I could stop myself.

"This is a really bad timing but okay why not?" Katie smirked and ohmygod that smirk makes me sooo we-

"Earth to Mila, we have to move" Katie chuckled and helped me up from the floor because apparently I did not notice that the guns stopped shooting. I smile back to her and we follow Sam and Callen who already continued forward into the warehouse.

"Hold up, where's Colin?" I ask because I didn't see him anywhere. Katie turned around facing me and told me that Colin got hit, fortunately the bullet only hit his leg, but he was carried back to the car by Sam. Wait, how long was I zoned out if all this happened and I didn't notice? Oh well..

"Kensi! Deeks!" Callen I heard Callen shout. Did he find them? Apparently he did, because now we are all running towards a glass door.

Kensi's pov:

I must be dreaming, but I'm sure I heard Callen's voice. It can't be real. I open my eyes slowly and see Deeks still has his eyes closed. My head hurts and when I bring my tongue out to touch my lip, I find that my lip is bleeding.

"Shit.." I curse quietly.

"Kensi!" I must be dreaming again because I thought I heard Callen's voice again. But when I turn my head towards the glass door, I see Callen, Sam and a woman behind the door.

"Oh my god.. Deeks!" I kicked Deeks' foot. Maybe a little bit too hard but what else can I do, my hands are tied, like literally I can't move them. Deeks is tied up too but I can see him opening his eyes slowly.

"Why did you kick me?" He frowned.

"Because Callen and Sam are here to save us" I say like it's something he should've already known.

"Oh thank god" Deeks exhales and closes his eyes. But he opens them as soon as the glass door suddenly opens. Something doesn't feel right about this...

"Thank god you guys are okay. Wait, are you okay?" Callen says quickly.

"Yeah, we're okay" I smile. Sam, Callen and this blonde woman all started to help me and Deeks but suddenly the glass door closes.

"Fuckin' hell.. Oh yeah, I'm katie by the way" the blonde woman, Katie, introduced herself and I couldn't help but notice she had a british accent, or maybe even an irish accent.

"And you must be Kensi and Deeks" she continued. And I was about to answer but suddenly some gas started to pour into the room from the vents.

"Okay this is not good.." Sam says and ran to the glass door with Katie.

"Mila, are you still there? We need help like now!" Katie shouts and I can see a girl running towards the door. Even though she wasn't close, I could see her slightly tanned skin, jet black hair and the bluest eyes I have ever seen. But I can see her start panicking behind the door.

"Okay Mila, calm down" Katie says softly while pushing Sam away so she could have some "privacy". But it seems to be working because the girl, Mila I think, starts to calm down.

"Mila, I need you to focus. Do you see anything useful around you?" The calmness in Katie's voice was unbelievable. How can someone be this calm in a situation like this??

"No I don't see anything.." Mila cries sofly while looking around.

"Take your time, but be as fast as you can" Katie seems to smile. Then Callen and Sam start to cough, and soon Deeks and I start to cough too.

"Okay I see this button over here. Do you want me to push it?" I hear Mila asking.

"Yes, push it. We have nothing to lose" Katie says and Mila does what she's told, she pushes the button. We all hold our breaths for a moment, but then the door opens and I could see Callen and Sam almost collapsing just before everything went black.

Mila's pov:

"Mila, go outside and call the ambulance! I'll help everyone out" Katie orders and I run outside. I start to panic again but only thing that could calm me down at this moment is Katie's voice. Okay, is it weird to have this huge crush on someone who you just met? Oh well.. I call an ambulance and while speaking on the phone I can see Katie carrying the other female agent outside. Katie lays her down carefully on the ground and then runs back inside. She does this three more times, and when the last one is out, I can see Katie collapsing to the ground.

"Nononono, Katie!" I cry while running to her. Fortunately the paramedics arrive and take everyone to the nearest hospital, even Colin, so I have to drive the car there.

When I arrive to the hospital I run as fast as I can to the main desk so I can hear what happened to Katie, and the others of course.

"Hi, there was six people delivered here like 15mins ago. Can I know which room they are in?"

"Are you family?"

"Well the blonde girl is my girlfriend" I lied, but for a reason. I needed to see how Katie is doing.

"Okay, well, they are in two separate rooms. Your girlfriend is in a room 36."

"Okay thank you so much!" I shout while already running towards Katie's room. God I need to know if she's alright. I found Katie's room and walked in. Katie was laying still on the hospital bed, she looked so vulnerable and small. I don't believe in God, but this moment makes me pray.

Please, God.

Ps if you guys are still interested, I'll try to update more but as you can see, I'm focusing on Katie's and Mila's story more, soooo if you are not interested in them, you might be disappointed. This doesn't mean I'm giving up on Densi, but from now on, there's going to be less Densi:/
