This was happening. I'm going on a date with Leo . It's Friday and I just finished my first week of school. On the Wednesday, Leo asked if I would like to go with him to this nearby park and I said yes.I look in the mirror. I didn't want to look too done up because it wasn't an official date but I also don't want to look like I just woke up. I decided to put on some mascara and leave my hair down. I went with wearing ripped jeans and a green body suit that has white stripes on the side. I take a deep breath. I feel so nervous. I mean this was actually happening. I'm going out with Leo , the guy I met at the club.

"You look cute." Cara pops her head into my room.

"Thanks. You think it's not too much." I say glancing at the mirror again.

"No. It looks perfect. Are you excited?" She says eyebrows arching.

"I don't know. What if it's weird? The last time we hanged out, we were both drunk and there was not much conversation." I say grabbing my purse. My heart was starting to pound as the clock was nearing 7pm.

"Don't worry about it. If it's a mess, you will still have Patrick. Seriously though, I am sure everything will go well and if it doesn't we will beat him up for you." she winks at me and walks out of the room. She was right. I had nothing to worry about. He's just a guy and luckily there are tons of guys in the world. I walked outside of my room and enter into the living room where everyone is conveniently located.

"Wow you look really good." Angelica comments eyeing the window. I then notice that everyone is looking at the window, eagerly awaiting.

"You guys are being so weird about this." I say mostly to distract myself.

"You only figured that out now." Venus says laughing.

Out of the corner of my eye I see a car pull up into the driveway and my heart begins racing. Everyone gets up and moves toward the window hiding behind the curtain.

"Is he coming in?" Cara asks standing behind Venus trying to sneak a view.

DING!

Leo :I'm here!

"Well I'm leaving now. Please don't follow us." I yell as I close the door and walk towards his black Mazda.

"Hey." I say opening the door to his car. He looks so good. He's wearing a black t-shirt with jeans. His smile greets me.

"Are those your friends at the window" He says chuckling. His voice. It's been a while since I have heard it. It sends chills down my spin. I hope he doesn't notice that.

"Yeah, they love me. Can't you tell?" I say smiling because I know I am lucky to have friends that care about me so deeply. He laughs in return sending me spinning again.

"So do you know where we are going?" He asks eyes on the road. Relief washes over me because he's no longer staring at me.

"Well you said we were going on a walk so I'm assuming a trail. Which by the way did I forget to mention that I am a very good speed walker so you might have a hard time keeping up with me." I say laughing.

"Is that so? Well, we are going to place where we can walk so you are not wrong." He says turning his head slightly and smiling at me. He needs to stop doing that. I notice that we are near lake Ontario. I've heard of this place but I have personally never been. He parks the car and turns toward me.

"Race you." He says smiling from ear to ear. The next thing I knew he closed the door to the car and he began running. There is no way he is going to beat me in a race. I get out of the car and run after him. He turns around and sticks out his tongue at me. I smile and push myself even further. My heart is racing. This is so much fun. I can't help but smile the whole time I'm running. In a couple seconds, I'm right behind him, right where I wanted to be. I push myself even further so that I am right beside him.
