Memory is a funny thing, isn't it?
I can almost perfectly remember how that candle was lit,
But never what we did with it.

I can remember you calling my name,
But it plays in my mind like a weird game,
The voice changing over the years and it's never the same.

I look at all these videos, of you and me, of me and you. Together.

But memory is a funny thing.
I can remember getting that ring,
But not the last time I heard you sing.

I can recall some of the times at the old house,
Where we wouldn't be as quiet as a mouse,
Just dancing around just like Klaus.

I'm terrible with so many things,
Constantly clipping my own wings,
Crying as the blood drips and stings.

Memory has a funny way of reminding you,
How to tie a shoe,
Or the last thing you had to go do.

But my memory is away,
I haven't seen it since the other day,
But the other day was too far back that way.

Memory is a funny thing to try to memorize,
Your brain can tell you lies,
But it can always help you realize.

But my memory seems to be...

What was I trying to say?
