Town troubles

Knock...knock...knock

"Uhh..Hey Kachan ...Do you wanna go running together?"I asked, Realising that his answer would most definitely be no so I stated"Actually forget it...I'm sorry for wasting your time"

"Why you asking me Little Miss sorry?" He questioned.

"No...like I said before..forget it..it was just  a stupid question" I repeated, slowly walking away.

"Yeah I'll come...I wanna hear about Icy Hot...give me a damn minute."he replied, grabbing a water bottle and locking the door.

"Uhh..is it okay to take a small detour on our run...I wanna go in a shop....if that's okay."I nervously asked, starting to jog.

"As long as I get to hear about the stone-faced God.tsk...idiot"he added, jogging a bit faster than me.

"Thanks..Well you already know the basics of it...We were best friends as kids and we didn't really get out much so we used to sneak out and play or whatever.A bit after I was 10 , me and my family had to skip town for a bit..that's all!"I answered , trying to keep my composure.

"Damn...Tell me the truth...that's not it...Why did he shout at you before and why were you crying like an idiotic brat?"he asked,knowing that parts of what I was saying were complete lies.

"Okay,Weeelllll....when he snapped at me he thought I was lieing about ,who I was.After that it's because we hadn't seen each other for a while sooo....that's it!"I explained, telling a part truth and part lie!

"Tsk..so which shop are we goin in?" he questioned,knowing that I couldn't and wouldn't tell him everything.

"Ohh it's just this corner shop...only five mins jog away...thanks!"I informed, pointing to the direction where it was.

The remainder of the jog was completely silent apart from when Bakugo began running off without me.Idiot-he said I was too slow!We swiftly got to the shop ; it was named 'fenrow sweets'.Apparently, it had been open for fifty years and was still doing well -before I left,me and Todoroki used to go here all the time and talk to the shop owner.I wonder if he'd still be there after all these years...

I looked at my watch as it was due to shut at 6:30-the time was 6:20 on the dot.I let Bakugo wait outside since the sun was about to set.I always loved the sunset 🌅!When I entered the shop, I grabbed the sweets for Todoroki (specific to this shop) and two cans of soda.When I was talking to the cashier, they mentioned that the shopkeeper had sold this shop a year ago.Disappointing. Despite this, they gave me his address as he hardly gotten any visitors -and mentioned us a while back.After paying , I went back outside and threw Bakugo a can of soda.I felt exceedingly awkward.After giving him the can, 

He unsuprisingly snapped:"Idiot!I prefer damn Doctor Pepper over soda,"before sitting down beside me and watching the sunset.

Throughout the whole thing, I was petrified that he'd just randomly snap at me -like always but he never did and we just walked home in silence.

It was now morning of my fifth day at U.A academy!The last couple of days have went well and some of the other girls have began talking to me-they still seem a bit wary.I have started hanging out with Todoroki more but he's changed a bit.Todoroki has become more...I don't know how to put this but more emotionless 😐, when we're in school anyway.Recently, he has began to say stupid stuff like 'to take of suspicion,I'll act like I always have'.I really don't mind he can do what he wants but he just doesn't seem...happy at school.It could be something to do with his dad as Todoroki always had problems with him.
