"I'm going to set this to rest at last" Moving over to the bleachers I put my bag beside izzy.

Pulling out my phone I hand it to Raquel "Record this for me plz, this'll be the last time I race like this." I request before heading to my old coach.

 "Can you count us off?"

"I'd be glad to!" She exclaims before getting into position.

"Beat his ass Jai! " I hear Izzy shouts before I reach the starting line along with Dale.

Diana POV

I didn't even know my mother went to this school. But I'd be lying if I said I wasn't stoked about it. I've also never seen her run to compete before so this is going to be awesome.

"On your mark....Get set....GO!!" My coach shouts

. Looking towards the starting line I see they've both taken off. Standing up I cheer my mom on seeing as though she's passed him up. She's running so fast, I've never seen her run this fast in my life. I can't tell when her legs hit the ground.

"That's what I'm talking about!" Rachel shouts.

"Everyone knows when the cheetahs is town, on the count of three shout cheetah." Izzy starts and chant. Eventually everyone starts shouting my mom's old nickname.

Looking back towards the track, my mom's still going at full speed while principle Dale has started to slow down. Coming around the bend she starts her last lap, the chant led by Izzy gets louder. Making her way to the long stretch, I get up from the bleachers and run behind the finish line to congratulate her in the win. Making her way down the last long stretch I see she's started running faster than before which causes my jaw to drop.

"And the winner is the cheetah! Finishing the mile in three minutes and thirty-six seconds. She'll always been the reigning champion." Coach Leslie shouts just as my mom crosses the finish line.

"Everybody shout che-che-che-cheeduh" Izzy calls out before joining me to congratulate mom.

Grace POV

I sit back down on the bleachers in excitement and thanking the gods that Diana invited me.

I would have never known Jaiden could run a mile in less than 4 minutes. Let alone see her attempt to do it again. Looking up I see they've made it to the start line, pulling out my own phone I hurriedly make my way to the camera app so I can record this momentous event.

"On your Mark get set GO! I hear an older women shout.

Jaiden leaves the starting line like a rocket, and is already passed the first bend of the track. She's running really fast and her strides are amazing. Looking towards the guy she's racing with, he's going just as fast.

Making their way around the last bend I see Jaiden starting to take the lead, but not for long before the guy catches up to her right as lap two starts. Getting to the long stretch, Jaiden starts going a little faster which puts her back in the lead. In the background I hear the crowd chanting for Jaiden, led by one of Jaiden's best friends catching on to the chat I began saying it myself. They're on the final lap now and Jaiden is definitely taking the lead, her competition has started to slow down giving Jaiden a major lead which she takes advantage of.

Getting around the last bend she starts going even faster if that's possible, I can't tell when her feet hit the ground she's practically flying. Crossing the finish line the crowd let's out a deafening of before chanting Jaidens old nickname over and over again. Looking to my left I see One of Jaiden's Bestfriends and her daughter running over to her.
