Nickole POV

Looking around my hotel room I make sure I've got everything.

Checking out I turn just in time to see Dr Jehnsen exiting the elevator with her suitcase. Taking in her attire, she's wearing a white sports t-shirt, dark red joggers, and white Nikes running shoes. I can definitely tell she works out by how tight the shirt fits her. Looking up, her thick and glossy jet black hair's in a messy bun and holding a pair of shades, not hiding her enchanting thick lashed midnight blue/grey eyes. And she's not wearing make up. She's the definition of a strong, beautiful and independent women. She carries herself with a quite, cool confidence. And her height just adds on to the confident persona. She's the kind of woman I need in my life and I'll be damned if I don't try to make her mine.

Seeing that she's leaving the building I make my presence known. "Jaiden! How lovely to see you again." I say grabbing my suitcase and making my way to her.

"Nickole, what a surprise. I thought you would have gone back to the States right after the conference." She expresses with that sexy southern accent. I catch her eyes wonder over me before she can bring them back to my face which causes me to smirk. So she's interested but something is holding her back, I mentally note.

"I wanted to do a little more touring before I left." I explain.

"Well, I'm headed to the airport, do you need a ride, I'm sure Gia won't mind." She asks with that cute dimpled smile.

"That would be great, thanks." I accept following her out the hotel exit. Wondering who this Gia is.

"She'll be here in 5min." She informs me before her phone rings.

"Hey babe." She answers, which causes me to raise an eyebrow. "No...I'm leaving now, did you want something?... I already got you that....yes, I'm headed to the airport now...Ok, I'll see you when I get home... I will and I love you too." She ends the call

I'm pretty sure she said she wasn't interested in dating, maybe she said that because she 's already with someone. But I'm pretty sure she would have just told me right out she was dating someone though if that's the case she doesn't seem the type to lie. my mental conversation is silenced after she speaks.

"Sorry about that, one of my bestfriends wanted to make sure I didn't forget to bring her back something from here." She explains.

Giving her a small smile "I understand how that can be. One of my Bestfriends is the same way." I share.

Our conversation is cut when a white Nissan Altima pulls to the curb. "That would be Gia." Jaiden mentions, moving to the back and putting her suitcase in the trunk. Walking to me she grabs my suitcase too, putting it in the trunk. Opening the back door she motions for me to get in. Doing as she says I see her get in the back with me instead of sitting up front with the women she calls Gia.

Closing the door after she gets in she turn towards the front. "Gia, meet Dr Kael, she's a cardiologist and a friend. Dr Kael meet Gia, an old family friend that I consider family and my aunt" She introduces us with a bright smile.

Sitting on the edge of my seat I extend my hand to Gia. "Nice to meet you, Dr Kael." Gia says with a thick Aussie accent shaking my hand.

"Nice to meet you too Gia, and plz call me Nickole." I smile, letting go over her hand.

"Nickole it is then. You and Jai share a name." She mentions.

"Who's Jai?" I asked confused.

"Jai is my nickname, most of my friends call me that." Jaiden explains.

"Gotcha" I wink "So can I call you Jai?"

"Be my guest" She says with a shrug which causes me to smile. 'One step at a time' I say to myself.
