5: To where she becomes Queen

"My King we are almost to the kingdom." My eyes slowly flutter open and I feel the warmth of the sun upon my face. The north had never gotten this warm. At least as long I can remember.

I look around to see that I'm laying in a carriage. I've always hated riding in carriages, but my mother said it would be very un-lady like for me to be riding a horse.

I slowly sit up and look through the curtains of the carriage and I can't believe what I see. No a single speck of snow lays up on the ground. The trees bright green and all sorts of colored flowers bloomed. The sun bright and the sky baby blue. I've never seen such a beautiful scenery.

I look a little further up and my eyes almost pop out of my head. A huge castle on a mountain top. I was so distracted by my surroundings, I've never seen to even realize why I'm here.

It hits me like brick. My father died at the mouth of the beast and he chased me into the woods. I feel the tears slowly falling down my cheeks.

A loud growl vibrates through his chest. "Look at me!" My body trembling, I slowly open my eyes to be met with those beautiful blue green orbs.

Those beautiful eyes that belonged to none other than the beast. "Please I beg of you." I plead with my life as I shrink further into the tree. My body shakes violently has his grasp around my neck tightens.

Yet he wasn't chocking me and all I was felt was as if his hand was a warm scarf. "Your mine Adeline.... all mine..." and that's when a blue substance was blown on my face.

And that's the last thing I remember. Why did this happen to me. I have no real power, I'm just a helpless princess who was kidnapped by a werewolf king. The most powerful king of all seven kingdoms. I hope my mother and the triplets made it out alive. Why would the beast want to kill them if he was just looking for me.

"We have arrived my king!" Someone shouts and I look to see that we were indeed at the castle already. I quickly lay back down and pretend I'm asleep.

I hear the carriage door open and a pair for warm arms pick me up and I feel my self being carried. "James take them to the dungeons." My body warms from the sound of his deep voice. "And your brother my king?"

"Take Maverick to the dungeons as well, I do not trust my dearest brother yet." My body stills and my eyes shoot open. I look around to notice that we are in the castle. Oh my... this castle is far more bigger and beautiful than the northern kingdom. "I see that my brothers name awakes you." I look up to the man who still carries me. Those eyes that I've been seeing in my dreams. Those eyes that took me and claims me as his.

"Maddox maybe we shouldn't scare the young queen as it's her first day here and we both do not yet know what she's capable of." I snap my head at a very well dressed man who seems to be around his old ages. The eye glass that rests on his head makes him look very smart.

I feel the beast tighten his grip on me. "My queen, I am sir James. Your now teacher and advisor." He takes my hand and plants a soft kiss upon it and bows before me. I gasp as I feel the power that he releases and a vision of a girl walking out of the woods with a pack of wolves following behind her and her eyes were glowing lavender.

I struggle to be put down and the beast finally does, I fall to my knees and star at the witch before me. "I've never met a witch before." I quietly say and that's when I'm torn from the ground and back in the beasts arms. I watch as sir James stands back up and smiles at me. I frown as I realize that we're walking away. I start to struggle again to be let down but he doesn't budge. I do not wish to be here, tears start to flow down my face. "Let go of me beast!" I scream and I'm immediately thrown. I brace myself for the hard impact but I land on a soft surface.
