Fighting Liliana

Chapter Nineteen

This week has been insane. I've been trying to figure out how the hell I got into this little love triangle with Vin and Parker, but still haven't solved the puzzle. I've been training by myself because I'm too scared to even run into one of them. Cierra, Gigi, Scott, and Charlie have been trying to help me figure out which one is the best for me while Nate has just been super biased.

Since I've met Parker, he's been there for me through everything, but so has Vin. I was in my room getting ready to head to the gym when I turn around and see Parker standing in my doorway. "Hey", he says. "Hey, Parker", I say quietly. "Ready for your fight tonight?", he asks. "I think so. I don't really know who I'm fighting though.", I say laughing.

"Whoever it is, I'm sure you'll kick their ass.", he laughs. We grow quiet again and I figure that it's a good time to tell Parker about Vinny kissing me. "Parker, I need to tell you something", I tell him. "What's wrong, Lil?", he asks. "Vinny kissed me.", I say looking at him. "What the fuck? You and I break up for a week and you go kissing somebody else?", he yells.

"Parker-", I start. "Fuck you, Liliana.", he cuts me off. He walks out of my room and I grab my gym bag and start to walk there. "Liliana!", I hear Mya yell and throw me down. "Get off of me!", I yell. I get back up and punch her in the face, but her friend holds me down and kicks me in the ribs, followed by Mya doing the same thing.

"Stay the fuck out of my house.", Mya says and walks away. Once they're done, I'm gasping on the floor for air, and I slowly get up. I limp to my apartment and I walk in hoping that I wouldn't make any noise. "Liliana, what the fuck happened to you?", Charlie yells. "I'm fine", I say and keep walking to my room. Scott and Charlie walk in behind me and start questioning me.

"Guys, I'm fine. I just had a bit of a misunderstanding with someone.", I reassure them. "Liliana, your bleeding and bruised all over. You are not fine, and you can barely stand.", Scott says. "I'm calling Parker.", Charlie says. "Call Vin.", I tell him. He raises an eyebrow at me, but goes and calls Vinny anyways.

I'm sitting on my bed with Scott and Charlie when we hear a knock on the door. Scott goes to let Vinny in and I instantly hear him start to freak out, which makes me chuckle. "Where is she?", Vinny ask. I hear footsteps, and Vinny appears in front of me. "Liliana, who did this to you?", he asked me.

"No one important, but I need to get these injuries under control, so I can fight tonight.", I tell him. Him, Scott, and Charlie all look at me like I'm insane and I roll my eyes. "I know where this is going.", I say annoyed. "You're damn right. You're not fighting Liliana.", Vinny yells. "Why is it that you and Parker both think you can tell me what to do?", I ask pushing by him and walking to the bathtub.

"Liliana, look at you.", Vinny says and faces me towards my mirror. I have bruises all over my stomach, my shirt is torn, my nose is bleeding, and my eye is swollen. I look at him and once again I say "I'm fine." He shrugs and then pokes me on my ribs "Ouch, what the hell", I yell. "Thought you were fine?", he smirks.

"Will you just help put ice in the tub please.", I ask him nicely. "Yes", he says and goes into my freezer and gets two bags of ice. He walks back into the bathroom and starts dumping the ice in there. "Where'd you get the ice from?", I ask him. "I was prepared. Charlie told me that you were beaten up, and I knew you wouldn't take no for an answer when we told you not to fight. So get in.", he says.

I start getting in and let a scream out because of the pain. Vinny helps me get in there and I lean back once I'm in the ice. "While I'm in here, we need to talk Vin.", I say looking at him. "Okay, about what?", he asked knowingly. "Don't mess around Vin!", I yell. "Okay, calm down", he laughs.

"You have brought out another side in me Vin. One that I didn't know I had, and it's a vicious one. I need vicious in order to beat people in this whole underground fighting thing, so I thank you for that. We can't be together though. I fell in love with the Venice kid.", I say finishing in a laugh.
