Fighting Liliana

Chapter Twenty-six

Today is the day. Today is the day that I finally get to fight Mya. If it weren't for her and Josh, my boyfriend would still be here. I woke up in a killing mode, and I'm out for blood.

"Liliana Johnson, where are you?", Vin asked walking into my apartment. "Whoa, you look scary.", he says looking at me. I have black eye shadow around my eyes, dark eyeliner, and I'm dressed in all black gear. "Hey guys", Nate says walking in with Gigi and Cierra. "Hey", I smile at them.

"I have something for you, Lil.", Nate says handing me Parker's jacket he used to fight in. I give Nate a huge hug and point up. "Today is for you, Parker.", I smile. "You look amazing, Lil.", Charlie says walking out of his room with Scott. "You look like you're mourning Mya today with all that black gear.", Cierra says laughings. I wink at her because she is absolutely right. I don't know what I might do to her today.

I know that Parker isn't here with us in person, but I know I feel him in the room. He's going to be there with me tonight when I fight, and he's going to be there with me forever. I put on Parker's jacket, and I look at all my friends. "I'm ready to kick ass.", I say with a serious face and walk out of the door.

We all drive to the gym and head downstairs. I see pictures of Parker around the gym and I start tearing up. People start chanting my name, and it makes my tears go away. I look at Vinny, and he smiles at me. "He's with you tonight, Liliana.", he tells me. I walk over to the crowd, and they all clap for me. I feel all of the support from everybody here.

"Tonight we have Liliana vs Mya. But first, I just want to say R.I.P to my man Parker Davidson. That man was one of the toughest fuckers I've ever met.", the commentator says. I smile and then I run to the center. "Let's go, Lil.", I hear Gigi yell. I get into fighting mode when I see Mya walking over to me with a smile.

Our fight starts and I run straight for Mya. She trips me and then slams my face into the ground. "Come on, Lil!", Vin yells. I start thinking that I can't do this and then I see the Muhammed Ali quote that Parker, and I would always talk about. I get up and punch Mya in the face. She falls to the ground, and I kick her in the face. I keep kicking her and she gets up and stumbles for a minute.

"You bitch. I'll kill you just like I did, your boyfriend.", Mya says. I look at her with nothing but pure hate in my eyes, and then roundhouse kick her in the face. I see a tooth fly out, and I smile widely. I pick her up and put her in a chokehold, but she quickly gets out of it and puts me in one.

I start fading, and I start seeing all of the times Parker, and I had together. I start thinking about how good it would be if I just died. I'd be with him right now. I hear my name and I snap out of it. "Liliana, wake up!", Vinny yells. I look over all my friends, and they all have tears in their eyes.

"You can't give up now.", I hear Charlie yell. I quickly get up and flip Mya over. She runs over to me, and I put her in a choke hold with Parker's jacket. She gets out of it again and kicks me in the stomach. I fall down to my knees and feel sharp pains shooting through my stomach. I see Mya coming at me with a high knee, so I move out of the way and kick her in the back of her knee. She falls and I do my signature curb stomp. Mya passes out and I start crying. "I did it.", I say and look at the picture of Parker on the wall.

Suddenly I feel the rage within me, and I walk back over to Mya. I kick her over and over again and then I wrap my hands around her neck, and she starts choking. "How does it feel?", I ask her. When she doesn't respond, I drop her and I stand up. The crowd erupts in cheers, and I feel all of my friends around me. "You did it, Lil.", Cierra says and hugs me. Vin and Nate put me on their shoulders and I kiss Parkers jacket.

"Your new champion everyone, Liliana Johnson! I think this fight meant a whole lot more than just some stupid title though.", I hear the commentator say. He was absolutely right. I don't give a fuck about the title. This was for my boyfriend. "Hey, Liliana.", Officer Hendricks says walking up to us. "Oh, shit.", I say and jump down off of Vin and Nate's shoulders.

"It's okay. I'm not here to turn you in. I'm here to arrest Mya though.", he tells me. "Why?", I ask him. "She was the one who told Josh to hurt Parker. They're both going away for a long time, Liliana.", he says to me. I start crying and then I hug my brother. "It's going to be okay, little sis. I love you.", he tells me. "Good fight tonight, kid. We may could use someone like you in the force.", Officer Hendricks says and walks over to Mya.

I feel a sharp pain shoot through my stomach and I fall to the ground screaming. "Liliana, what's wrong?", Vin asks rushing over to me. "My stomach.", I yell. Vin scoops me up and rushes me to the car. Once he puts me in, Charlie and Scott get in with us. Cierra, Nate, and Gigi go in Nates car. "We'll be there soon, Lil. Hang in there.", Charlie tells me.

Vin speeds to the hospital and we pull up in about 4 minutes. "Nice, Vin Diesel.", I laugh. Scott grabs me and helps me into a wheelchair and pushes me in the hospital. "Hi, my little sister is having sharp pains. She just got done practicing at the boxing gym, and she's in a lot of pain.", Charlie tells the nurse and signs me in.

I see Nate, Gigi, and Cierra walk up to us and I give them a smile to let them know I'm okay. Once the nurse calls my name we all head back to the room. The doctor comes in after about ten minutes of waiting. "Hi, Liliana. I'm Doctor Marshall and I'll be seeing you today. Tell me what's going on.", he says. "I'm having a lot of pain in my stomach area. I was fight-.", I start and quickly change what I was saying. "I was practicing in the boxing gym, and I must've gotten hit too hard in the stomach.", I tell him.

"Alright, tell me if it hurts right here.", he says and presses on my stomach. "No, not really", I answer. "How about right here?", he asks. "Yeah, a little bit right there.", I tell him. "Liliana, I'm going to do an ultrasound to see what's going on in there, okay?", he tells me. "Yes sir", I answer quickly. I fall asleep while getting my ultrasound done.

The doctor comes wakes me up and tells me some crazy news. "Liliana, you're pregnant. The baby is fine.", he says with a bright smile. My eyes grow wide and I immediately get sad. This is my child. This is a child that I would've had with Parker. I start crying and Cierra rushes over to hug me. "I know what you're thinking, Lil. You won't be alone though.", she tells me. I give her a hug and then I turn around to see Nate holding something up.

"Here, Lil.", he says and throws keys at me. I catch them and look at him funny. "What's this?", I ask him. "Keys to your parent's old house.", he says smiling. I look at him and burst out in tears again. "What? How?", I stumble for words. "Parker bought it for you. He was going to surprise you with it after you beat Mya.", Nate smiles. Parker bought my parents house for me. A house that I'm going to raise our child in and a house that I'll fill with pictures and memories of him.
