I opened my eyes and grinned at the sight of my new cave. I had found the perfect home.

I stretched and yawned then walked to the entrance. I took in the beautiful night view then dove off and towards the east coast.

I saw a big fig tree and descended to take a few. I landed and heard some shrills and screeches and saw some movement out of the corner of my eye. I looked in the direction and something tiny hit me on the back of my head. My head lashed around and bunches of the little pebble like things were shooting at me from all directions. I put my wing up to block them then looked down to see loads of fig seeds. Whatever they were they were spitting seeds. Weird. I gazed up and saw around three green and two brown dragons that were only about twice the size of a Terrible Terror.

"Get out!" spat a green one.

"Yeah, out of our territory!" hissed a smaller one. Must be younger.

"This is already owned? I did not know. I Just-" I started

The first green one cut me off to yell, "I said get out! I don't care about you pity excuses!"

At that the drilled me again with seeds. I just waited for them to run out of them. I wasn't going to just let them beat me that easily. It didn't take long till they were out of firepower. I smirked up at them but they also stood their ground and continued to look at me piercingly. I basted a branch one of them was on and he she fell to the ground with a thud. I pinned her down with a single paw on her chest. Her claws kind of hurt but I didn't mind enough to let her go.

"Let me go!" she squealed.

"Only if you let me stay." I growled.

"Alright fine. But you may want to sleep with one eye open tonight. I know where you sleep." Snarled another brown female.

I snickered at her little comeback. Like she could really take me on even when I was asleep.

"I've beaten bigger." I said.

"So have we." She replied with a mischievous tone.

They skittered away and I ate my figs without further interruption.

Once I was finished I jumped into the wind and surveyed my new territory. The waterfall I live under had a stream that led straight to another waterfall and this one emptied out into the ocean. I continued on and saw a nice beach. I carefully landed and trotted over to the beach. I stepped on some sort of stone that kind of hurt my paw on the way. The moment my foot touched the rock I beautiful blue, yellow and red dragon with a large frill came bursting out of the water.

"GET OFF MY EGG!" She roared

"Sorry. I thought it was a rock," I said.

"Leave now." She grumbled.

I noticed her vibrant scales, large frill and tail like mine but bigger and loads of ribbons. She was a Colorful Coraldart. I knew they liked deals so I replied with, "Look, I want to live here too so let's make a deal"

"I like deals." She hissed.

I smiled then asked "How about I guard your egg at night? So you can sleep elsewhere or hunt."

"Why should I trust you?"

"I only like bird eggs. Dragon eggs are so gritty and hard to bite through. I would rather eat fish and deer any day. Speaking of deer, are there any around here?"

"Not on this island but there is one just south of here that does. Deal. But I would also like you too get me some deer or boar too. I've never had it."

"Okay. I'm Ferinix."

"Sureka"

"Are you a Coraldart? My mother has told me great things about your kind."

"Yes I am. Is that why you offered a deal? It's a thing in my species. Also what are you?"

"I'm a Night Fury."

"Oh I think I've heard of those. Well why don't you get me that deer? I'm rather hungry."

I smirked then flew south as she said and soon saw a big island. I descended and noticed that this place had a lot less trees than my new island.

I had almost completed a lap around the huge isle until I spotted a heard of what looked like white deer. Where they albino? I've never seen one. I glided in closer and realized they weren't deer at all and they each had something on their back. Wait are those, humans? I have had enough with them!

I curled my wings around me and dived at a supersonic speed down to them. I blasted the one in front then unfurled my wings and flew back up. I heard them yelling and strange sounds coming from the white deer-like creatures. Circled and noticed that I had killed one of the white animals with my blast. I plummeted back down and landed on the ground. The humans yelled and the creatures they were on galloped away while making funny screaming noises.

I heard a branch break and me being pumped up with adrenaline whipped my head around growling. A woman was holding her child and attempting to get away unnoticed. I decided she wasn't worth it and turned back to the dead deer thing and bit into it. I heard the woman trying to sneak to safety but ignored her. Once I had my fill I rose back into the air with the remainder of the carcass and traveled back north.

I soon saw Sureka caressing her egg in a tide pool. I cautiously so I wouldn't startle her. I've heard that they can be scared easily. She lashed around then noticed it was I and trotted over. She sniffed it then took a bite.

She swallowed then turned to me and said, "It tastes sort of like dolphin but less flavorful. I honestly don't think it's worth all the trouble but thanks."

"Any-" I started but then I was interrupted by a small cracking noise.

I looked behind Sureka and saw a break the egg.

"Sureka, look!" I whispered.

She turned around then dashed to her egg, picked it up in her mouth and jumped into the water. I followed and made it just in time to see a big explosion of bubbles. The bubbles cleared and revealed a little pink dragon with big teal eyes. I stared in awe as Sureka smiled at her new child. She put her paw over the little ones nose and slowly swam towards the surface. I broke the surface with them as the newborn took its first breath of air. She let out a squeaky roar and struggled to stay afloat. She watched her mother for a bit and imitated her movements. Once she could swim, we all paddled back to shore.

"What will you call her?" I asked Sureka.

"Andri. Same as her grandmother." She responded.

I felt warmth against my scales and turned around to see what it was and saw the sun rising.

"I better go get some sleep. See you later"

I took off to my new den and once I arrived I plopped down and fell asleep.
