(11) Bucky's Confession

The morning after Briella woke up and saw Bucky still sleeping as she admired her ring. She smiled and looked over at him and ran her hand through his hair. He moaned and he opened one eyed "What are you doing?' he said in a sleepy voice. 

"How long?' she said 

"How long what?" he said 

"How long ago did you quit not liking me?' she said 

That got Bucky's attention and opened his eyes and said "Um since the 8th grade." 

"When I got boobs." she said 

"No no listen I um you went from this girl who yes was captain and amazing at everything the only time I ever seen you be confident in yourself was when you were cheering or dancing at game. Then in the 8th grade you walked into school with your head held high cause you felt more confident cause you had them and you no longer had to find ways to make you feel more secure next to Natasha and Wanda. But then you still had that cocky ass attitude and as much as I wish I could say that it annoys me I find it incredibly sexy cause it just shows how much more confident you are. And the day that I picked your song I knew you weren't going to fail I know you well enough to know that you would have pulled it off and you did. I wanted to see if you would take my challenge. And the other reason why I never said anything is because I wasn't sure..if you were trying to convince me or yourself that you hated me too." he said

She swallowed hard and looked down as she started to think. 

"It hurt to see you with other people Brie it did. I felt like you belonged to me seeing you kiss Declan two days after we slept together for the first time hurt my heart. It made me feel like a loser cause I couldn't tell you my feelings so instead I tried to make you jealous of Molly Grace Hadley Maci. But all that did was backfire when you would turn around and start dating someone else then they would talk about sex with you in the locker room and it hurt to hear it that's why I was hurt to see Tinder on your phone that night and it hurt even more to see you doing homework on Prom night you didn't deserve that you are the most popular athlete at the school and everyone expected me to ask you and I saw the hurt in your eyes that day when you heard what I say and I know it hurt you cause you went to the one place you go when you want to be alone and you got all defensive which told me that you were really hurt. And when I saw tears coming from these big dark blue eyes that night cause Dylan hurt you I couldn't take it anymore baby I was tired of lying to myself and you and I was tired of fighting the universe." he said 

She smiled and wiped a stray tear and said "Baby I love you." 

He smiled and leaned down to kiss her "I love you too baby." he whispered as he kissed her lips. 

"I want to get married before I get all big and fat Buck." she said with a smile

"Well then we better get a move on then cause that won't take long with the way you have been eating." he said with laugh

She threw her pillow at him and he said "Hey this is my bed you be nice." 

"It's part my bed now baby so you be nice." she said 

"Yeah yeah." he said 

They pulled on their clothes and went to eat breakfast.
