I leaned up against Reina as the news soaked in.

Spencer. It was him. He told the government.

No, he wouldn't. Would he?

I turned to Reina and begged, "Please tell me it isn't true."

She looked down at me as I clawed onto her. "I'm sorry, Lola. It's true."

I fell to the floor as my eyes welled with tears.

"The criminal is being held downstairs." Yamu said.

I lunged at Yamu, but Reina held me back. "He's not a criminal!" I screamed at him.

"If you can not control this child, Reina, then we will have to give her a sedative." Grant said as he glared at her.

"Oh? shut up." I shot at him.

Reina squeezed my shoulder. "Lola." She scolded with a soft voice.

I stood back up and asked, "Can I see him?"

Yamu nodded and I ran downstairs.

As I ran the halls Jenna saw me. "Lola...?" she called after me, confused.

"I can't right now, Jenna! They have Spencer!"

She ran along with me, asking questions that I didn't have the answer for.

As we came to the guards I held up my card, saying I have permission to be there. They opened the door of the dark prison. We walked in and the door closed.

"Follow me." Reina said.

We walked along the dark hallway and we came to a door at the end. It was made of medal, and had three locks on it.

As Reina unlocked the door she said, "Now, remember, you don't have a lot of time."

I nodded, as she opened the door. Before we walked in Jenna grabbed my arm.

"Are you sure it's safe?" she asked with fear swirling in her eyes.

"We'll be fine." I assured her.

We walked into the dark room. It smelled of mold and if darkness had a smell, it would smell like that room. Reina closed the door and in front of Jenna and I, were iron bars to the floor to the ceiling.

The jail cell held a teenager, his hands chained against the wall and his feet in cuffs. His dark black hair dangled in front of his face.

Tears fell down my face, as I grasped the cold, hard bars, and said quietly, "Spencer?"

He lifted his head up and I saw into his dark cold eyes. What happened to the beautiful crystals that once danced into those eyes? Now they were red, with dark circles under them, I couldn't tell if they were from someone hitting him, or tiredness, or both. He gave me a weak smile. "Lola." He said with peace. His hair started going behind his face and his eyes started to dance again. But his face was filled with confusion.

"Lola, where am I? Why was I brought here? Why are you here? Why am I being treated like this? Why is Jenna here? How long have I been here? What about my family?" He asked.

My head filled with answers, that I wasn't sure I could give, but I gave them anyway. "You are at the headquarters of the White Lotus, I am the Avatar, and they are helping me, " his eye filled with wonder at every new word I said. "They think you are the one who told the government that I'm the Avatar, Jenna is here because her family is involved with the White Lotus and she is going to be the Fire Lord. I don't know how long you've been here and I don't know anything about your family."

He looked down and said, "Woah. I swear it wasn't me! I didn't know until now!"

I stood up. "I know that, but they don't believe me."

Spencer lifted his head and asked, "Who's 'They' ?"

"The high members, they kind of run this thing."

I heard the door open.

Jenna and I turned around and saw Reina sticking her head out. "Sorry, times up."

I went onto my knees and held onto the bars as I said to Spencer, "Its okay. I'll convince them. Don't worry, I won't let them hurt you."
