I stuttered as Carter pulled me into a camo truck (and HE judged ME about camo!). We drove down to the woods by Jenna's house. By all the things he has told me this was the biggest. He was an airbender. With tattoos and all.

He was whistling, as I was finally getting words out of my mouth. "Wh-Wha-HOW!?"

He sighed and frowned. "Well after Korra died and the government totally changed, my family went into hiding. About two thirds of the air benders were killed; Avatar Aang would not be happy about that. My family joined with the White Lotus, and the rest of the airbenders did too, to try to help the Avatar. The earth one after Korra: the government got to them before we could. The fire one: we almost had. The water one: actually we had them but a member of the White Lotus betrayed us and reported the baby to the government. The air..." He stopped talking.

I leaned over. "What about the air?"

He sighed. "Nothing, they were killed obviously." He said in a voice that didn't make me believe him, but I let it go.

"So where are we going?" I asked.

He made a sharp turn as he said, "To the White Lotus headquarters." He finally parked in the middle of the woods. Carter and I got out and he pulled out a camo tarp and covered the truck with it.

When he was done, he pulled his hood off and looked at me. "Put your hood down, we don't want everyone to know you're here."

As I pulled my hood over my face I asked. "Well, one: Do they all know my face? And two: in the middle of the woods is your hideout?"

He smirked. "Yes, and No." He walked over to a tree and knocked on it three times and a door came out. It was an extremely small room. He stepped in. "You gotta get in." He told me.

I stepped in; The door slammed. Lights flashed and I screamed.

Carter laughed. "It's okay! Calm down!" All of a sudden the door opened to what looked like a warehouse with dozens of rooms. I kept my head down as people waved to Carter, but ignoring me. We slipped into a room and he closed the door. I whipped off my hood and saw a tall woman with brown hair and she looked a bit tan. Her hair was in a ponytail. Her back faced me and she was writing on a board mumbling. She was wearing a scarlet and yellow outfit that looked just like Carter's.

Carter cleared his throat. She whipped around with a wide smile. "Lola," She gave a happy sigh and ran to me for a hug like I was her long lost daughter.

I stood paralyzed as she hugged me. She let go and looked at Carter with a wide smile. "Good job, honey."

Carter nodded and turned to me. "Lola, this is my mom."
