"Home sweet home." Reina said as she showed me my room.

It had a screen wall between Jenna and I's, basically it was one big room with a screen dividing it.

"Looks...private." Jenna said with sarcasm in her voice, she unfolded the screen and walked to her side. The screen was tan with flowers on it. The walls were sky blue, and Reina said they planned on painting sky bison on it. There was a single window in my room and one in Jenna's (that's if you even count our rooms as two different rooms).

I had a single dresser and a bed with no sheets. "Where's the sheets?" Jenna asked from her room, I guess she had the same problem.

"In the dresser." Reina said, "Don't worry we have everything covered. Leo will be staying in the jet to guard it, Carter's room is on the main level, Lola's mom will be down the hall, and my room in right next to yours. Well, I better unpack, let me know if you need anything." she said as she left.

I gazed at my room, if it was even real, it didn't feel real. As I unpacked my stuff, I thought about Leo, what was his deal? Why does he hate me? I know Carter said , he hates everyone, but I couldn't help but wonder.

"Lola! Check out our window view!" Jenna called from her room.

I slowly walked over:

The view was breathtaking. Our room windows, were glassless, and had the perfect view to look at the garden, it was diamond shaped, with a white gazebo in the middle, there was a collection of beautiful flowers of every color circling the gazebo, beyond the flowers were berry bushes, in a circle, where dozens of lemurs sat eating the purple juicy berries. Beyond the bushes were yellow, soft, flowers, and outlining the diamond, were tall birch trees.

I took a breath in as I gazed at the beautiful sight, behind the garden was a small pond, with a single willow tree, its branches reached over the pond covering half of it, as turtle ducks were swimming around. And way beyond that pond were distant mountains.

"Wow, you guys get a good view." said a voice behind me. I turned around to see Carter standing right behind me. He was grinning with a cup of tea in his hands. I knew he slept on the way here, but he still looked so tired?

"When was the last time you slept?" I asked as Jenna unfolded the curtain and walked into my room.

He smirked. "Probably, a little bit after you fell asleep on me." Carter replied.

I blushed and pushed him as Jenna and him laughed, I couldn't help but smile.

"Hey, Carter?" Jenna asked as she twirled my hair, "Got any idea why your brother hates Lola so much?"

He frowned and his shaggy hair covered his face, I could barely make out his head arrow and his pointed nose. "I told you already. He hates everyone."

Jenna started braiding my hair, as I said, "Yeah well, he seems to have extra hate on me"

Jenna jumped up and said, "Oh! I got it!" she said as she smiled, "Maybe, he likes you!"

Carter and I's faces burned up and we both said at the same time, "No, he doesn't!"

We calmed down when he realized that we were being too loud. "Besides," Carter said, as he pushed back his sandy blonde hair, "he's twenty-six."

That I did not know. "See, Jenna?"

She snickered as she walked back to her room and folded the curtain. "Whatever, I said that to get you to upset, besides you already have enough guys in your life."

There's Jenna, reminding me I have two boys to pick. Either way, it will end in heartbreak. There's no doubt about that.

"So, see you at dinner?" I asked while rubbing the back of my beanie.

"Yeah." he said. I could see him blushing. "Listen, Lola," He said in as serious voice. "Meet me at the gazebo, at midnight. I have something to tell you, that I should've told you a while back."

I could feel my heart beating hard as he spoke. Was he going to tell me he liked me? Or was he going to tell me something else?

I couldn't tell, but when he left, Jenna came out from behind the curtain and said, "Well, would do you think is gonna happen?"

I shook my head. "I don't know. But I know what you're thinking and it's not that."

***

During dinner Carter played with a lemur that crawled into his window.

After dinner Reina had a meeting with us in a big room, with paintings of mountains, and with a long table with twelve chairs with it. It was me, Jenna, Reina, Carter, Leo, and mom. "Now, first off some rules. No going out after dinner,"

I gave Carter a look. He mouthed back, Please?

I mouthed back, Fine

He smiled while Reina said the rest of the rules,

"You have three hours of getting ready for bed and doing whatever, before bedtime. At bedtime: Jenna, Lola, and Carter, no leaving your rooms." all three of us sighed as she said the next set of rules. "Every morning, we will be up at six, so no sleeping in Lola. There are guards all over the temple, so don't bother trying to leave, and Leo will be guarding the jet. No going in the mountains, and no teasing the lemurs. And I believe that's it. Anything you want to add?" Reina asked Leo, and mom.

They both shook their heads.

"Now, tomorrow, we will be cleaning this place up a bit and placing some artifacts in here. I have boxes and boxes lod full of stuff so don't worry, you'll have lots of stuff to do tomorrow. Now, you have three hours till bed, so go get ready." Reina said with a smile.

Jenna, Carter and I, stood up and walked out. "We still on for tonight?" Carter whispered to me, as he was about to head down to his room.

"Yeah, I'm in."

Jenna and I climbed the stairs (we were on the third floor) we came to our hallway, we were second door and first door, to the right.

"I'm probably going to bed now, so goodnight, Lola." Jenna said as she yawned.

"Goodnight." I said, as I walked into my room. I swallowed a scream when I saw Leo sitting on my window, he was looking down as the pale moonlight glittered around him.

"Look," he said as his hair was covering his face so, I only saw, his nose, the end tip of his arrow, and his mouth, "you may have everyone buying your act, of empty promises and your whole 'poor me' thing."

He raised his head and stood up and walked towards me. His green eyes glittered with hatred his blue arrow wrinkled, he spat in my face, "I'm not buying it. You have to intention to help us, and you may be the Avatar, but we can win this war without you. So..." He said slowly, as he began to walk out, he was standing in the doorway but he half turned his head and said, "Why don't you just leave."
