"Can I ask ya somethin'? It's a lil personal, though." My eyes moved to Black Seven who jumped across a gap between two buildings with me. We were about a two hundred feet away from the harbor where we would get the weapons - apparently.

He stopped and sat down on the edge of a house, staring at me in the darkness. "Of course, what is it?" His heands twitched a bit, I guessed because he wanted to keep on running and not just sitting here.

"I...I think it can wait. You look nervous." I said, already about to jump down on the ground but Black Seven stopped me by grabbing my hand. "Nah, why wouldcha think that?" He asked and I just pointed at his left hand which was twitching as if it was electrocuted.

Black Seven looked at it and laughed. "Oh, that's not me. It's him. He is the one who can't wait, sorry about that, hehe." He smiled and I sat down as well. "Do you have two personalities? Like the Riddler?" I tried not to let the inner psychiatrist out.

"Hahaha, no, it's more complicate. But I'm sure this wasn't your main question, eh?" His blue eyes had a twinkle of curiousness which actually surprised me.

"You're right." I took a deep breath, then placed my hands on my legs. "I'm in some sort if struggle lately. Because there's someone I love but apparently, he is dead. I refuse to believe it, I really do. But what if it is true? Honestly, I wouldn't know what to do. So I'd like to know if you ever had a similar situation and if you could help me." It was pretty hard to keep my voice strong but somehow, I managed to.

Smiling while laying back down on the roof, Black Seven looked up at the dark sky. "Somewhat. I used to be in a relationship with a person and though they only used me to do all of the dirty work, I loved them. Although I was never happy doing the things because they didn't seem right. But I did it out of love." He turned his head to me and I listened carefully.

"Then they disappeared. And I missed them so badly I couldn't sleep nor continue my life for quite a while. It took some time but now I question if I ever loved them and if it wasn't just me depending on this person. I don't know if this applies to your situation but you will eventually get over them by accepting that they're gone."

I let his words sink in for a moment before actually reacting to this information. "I...I don't even know if I want to move on. He's everythin' to me, I can't just give up on our past, can I?" This was more a question to myself. 'I don't know.'

"Look, I noticed yer reaction back in the hideout and I keep thinkin' about it." He scratched his face and put on a serious face. "That fear in such a situation, it doesn't come from nothin'. If it's the guy's fault, if he harmed you in any way, you should question if he loved you." I stared at him with big eyes as he continued.

"If he is indeed still alive, you should go deep inside your feelings and find out if you really wanna stay with someone like 'im. Of course, I don't know anythin' 'bout ya and yer past but I don't need to. All I can suggest is thatcha think about what he did to ya. If you deserve this. And if he deserves you." Black Seven sat up and I noticed my eyes were burning because I didn't even blink during the time he spoke.

"Thank you." My lips felt kind of numb but I forced myself to speak anyways. His words were actually really deep. Hard to believe he may was as insane as Mistah J.

For another view moments, we looked at each other when I suddenly felt something being pushed against my neck. "You are not supposed to be up here!" A man's voice angrily growled and I slowly turned my head, staring at seven big guys pointing theirs guns at me and Black Seven.

"This is not the place for little girls." A man holding a shotgun said and I already reached for one of the knifes in belts on my legs when Black Seven leaned his head back, looking up at the man behind him. "Then why are you here?" He smiled at the guy and I giggled.

"Oh, a little sassy, aren't we?" Another man with a scar on his forehead said, making Black Seven crook his head with a giant smile all over his face. "Whu-what's yuh-your deal, Harry Potter?" He sounded like he was trying not to laugh. "Did Hogwarts throw ya out?"

"That's enough from the smart-mouth!" The guy walked closer to Black Seven, playing with a stun gun while I slowly reached for one of the knifes in a belt around my left leg.

One hand around Black Seven's throat, he lifted him up, pushing the stun gun against his stomach, turning it on and making Black Seven laugh as he started to twitch. 'Does he really need help?' I thought as his eyes widened in joy.

Suddenly, something hit my head and I quickly turned around before being kicked in my face, almost falling off the roof. "Hey!" I wiped the blood from my nose off my face, glaring at two of the men, pointing their guns at me.

I quickly looked at Black Seven, wondering if he was alright. "You should've stayed away from our area." My head turned to the two men just before one of them punched me in the face and the other one turned his gun around, hitting me in the back with it and immediately making me fall down on the flat roof.

My legs started twitching as my spine felt like someone stuck a knife in it and was twisting it round and round. "Nnnngh!" I bit my lip as tears of pain ran down my face and suddenly, the awful pain was gone and I let out a sigh of relieve.

"Harley! Are you okay?" Black Seven asked with big eyes, the man's hand still on his throat. I wiped the tears off my face and looked at him. "I-I guess." My voice was still shaking as the pain still stuck in my head.

Since I fell on my right side, I put my shaking hands on the concrete roof, trying to stand up when I noticed that, for some reason, I couldn't.

"What's the matter, jester girl?" One of the two men standing to me left side laughed. "Already enough of the fighting?"

Black Seven still stared at me, ignoring the man with the scar not taking his hand off his throat. "What's wrong?" He asked and I kept looking at the rooftop below me. My eyes were locked on my fingers and I felt the shock getting my body numb.

Finally, I looked up at Black Seven, still trying to stand up but it was like I had no legs anymore. Like they were gone. "I just...can't move my legs..."
