Sweet, Sweet Revenge

My hands hurt from the nails as well as the rest of my body, but that wasn't something new to me. What was, indeed, new was the question as to why Black Seven thought it'd help him to slap my girl and even kick her. Not to mention him almost killing her during the periods I came back from the dead and just made me watch. Like, what the fuck, man?

"Hey!" I growled, my inflamed throat from the smoke making me cough as Black Seven looked over to me. "What kind of drugs did you take that make you think you can just hit my girl, huh?" Harley looked at me with tired eyes, blood streaming out of her wounds and her breath slowing down.

Batman's eyes were locked on Black Seven who turned his head over to me and smiled. "Only ganja, care to try some?" He asked but I just ignored his answer because Harley closed her eyes in total exhaustion and of the blood she lost over the past hour. 'Me having the shot with the Dionesium but not able to grab it. Wonderful.'

I hissed at Harley to get her attention as Black Seven turned back to Batman to have some sort of conversation which I didn't care about at the moment. She opened her eyes a tiny little bit but obviously struggled to keep them open. "What is it, Mistah J?" Harley mouthed the words as her eyes closed again, making me sigh with slight uncomfortableness.

My lips were dry and my lungs hurted from the smoke but I somehow managed to speak a view words, even though my mouth felt like bleeding. "Ya think you can grab that shot from my pocket?" I asked, still trying to separate my hands but those nails hurt like hell so I gave up on that again.

Harley mouthed something and remained motionless on her back, one hand on the stab wound on her belly. It was hard to tell if she was conscious or already dying - not that I was worried about her being dead during the next minutes because the Dionesium would bring her back even after after a day. But the thought of her dying right now...it made me nervous.

I pushed my forehead against the roof and pulled my legs under my body to sit up, not without pain because Black Seven stabbed two knifes in the sides of my head and right into my brain - which made it a bit hard for me to think straight or speak. "I'm sorry for letting you down." My eyes moved over to Harley as she whispered those words.

"You didn't let me down, kid." I blinked at the smoke hitting my eyes and coughed again while I tried to stand up - which was a pretty stupid idea because my body wasn't fully recovered and there was less Dionesium in my body, caused by my high blood loss. "You couldn't do a thing, no big deal, you messed worse things up."

Unable to stand up, I wheezed a bit from the low amount of fresh oxygen up here but still stared at Harley, knowing she felt guilty for not being able to help me as Black Seven killed me...a couple of times. But first of all, I needed to get my hands moving - easier said than done, by the way.

"Ah, I love this!"

Black Seven's voice let me look up at him, realizing he stared down at me with his idiotic, green eyes and that retarded grin. "I love winning!" As if he had to control himself not to burst into laughter, his whole body shook while he stepped back and placed both of his hands on the sides of Harley's head. "And I love destroying people's illusions!"

He slowly lifted her up just by her head which made Batman scream at him to stop this madness. Because if Black Seven continued, he'd just rip off Harley's head and that was something not even the Dionesium could fix up. "Isn't it great to lift people to a whole new level?" Black Seven giggled crazily as Harley whimpered and opened her eyes as he pulled her up even further while she gave me the most frightened look in, like, ever.

That was it. I was completely done with this whole shindig, though it was kind of funny at first. Nobody could say I wasn't patient but once in a while, even I had to start cursing the fucking shit out of my mouth. Drop my standards. And cross a line or two.
