"How did you think we'll manage this?" Joker asked as we both stared down from a police station at Robin, Nightwing and Batgirl, all badly beaten up and surrounded by four rogues, Riddler and Mad Hatter included.

"Just walk over to them and try to kill all of them at once?" His bloodthirsty eyes looked at me as he grinned evilly which made me regret this temporary team up. "We won't kill them, we'll just take them out." I already worked on a plan to free Damian, Barbara and Dick.

Joker sighed and dropped his head forward. "What is it with you and your no-kill-rule?" His voice sounded not curious at all, he was just mocking me by the simple way he looked at me, he thought my standards were ridiculous.

I rolled my eyes while trying not to draw one if the villain's attention to us. "If you kill a killer, the number of them stays the same." My statement just made Joker chuckle, that was the best he could do to hold back a loud laughter. "Not if you kill many. Like, girl, is you retarded?" The way he spoke let me glare at him in anger. "Just stab someone. Your problems would be solved."

"I don't let myself go down to that level." I simply answered. Why did he always try to make me snap? "Also, if I'd ever stab someone it would be you." My words came out of my mouth before I could think.

Joker put on a shocked look and moved his right hand to his heart. "Ouch, Bats!" He gasped. "That hurt me, really deep. But if it's that what you want I think we should break up." Joker stood up and wanted to walk away but I pulled him back down by grabbing his silver suit. "You stay right here!"

He smiled and laughed as he shook his head in confusion. "You're a handful, but still, no sense for humor. What a shame." Joker looked at me from the side. "Because you're the one who needs my help. And I'm afraid I won't be all concentrated if I can't have fun."

Every inch of my brain told me that I'd regret it if I'd agree with whatever he wanted me to do but I also knew that he wouldn't play along the whole time if I would force him to go my way. So I just nodded and watched him smiling and pulling out a red wig from his pocket. "Good choice...Miss Batsy."

"I can't believe I'm actually doing this." I whispered as Joker pushed me towards the group of rogues that didn't seem to notice us. "Well, you better do." Joker whispered back in my ear with a chuckle. "Because it's too late to back out."

My original plan was telling Joker to distract the villains while I rescued Batgirl, Nightwing and Robin. But sure, why stick to this plan when I could dress up as Batwoman with lipstick and everything and let Joker who looked like Jim bring me over to those super criminals?

"You will f--" I was silenced by Joker duct taping my mouth and holding a gun against my spine as Mr. Bloom noticed us and immediately drew the rogues' attention to us. "Look who it is!" His creepy voice actually freaked me out.

Scarecrow and Mad Hatter walked towards us a view steps while Riddler rose an eyebrow. "Gordon, what are you doing here?" His eyes had a confused twinkle. "I thought you were already dead by now."

My muscles tensed with anger and I glared at Joker as I turned my head. "Mmm-hm!" I mumbled through the duct tape but didn't receive any reaction. Instead, Joker hit me on the head with the magazine of his loaded gun.

"Black Seven said that if I'd catch Batman, he'd let me live!" My eyes widened in surprise at the way Joker sounded. Not exactly like Jim but obviously close enough for the criminals to buy it. "And I'd get Barbara back..." He stared over to Batgirl who looked right through this but kept quiet.

"I don't know..." Jervis said and walked around us. "Why does he look like Batwoman then?" Now Mr. Bloom also tilted his head while Scarecrow slightly giggled.

"How would I know?" Joker sounded like he was laughing but I wasn't in such a good mood. 'I'm gonna make him pay for this, I swear to my favorite batarang!' If I wouldn't have felt so humiliated I would've actually found it amusing.

"Please, I just want my child back..." The way Joker almost cried and the tears forming in his eyes made me get curious. Was that really just acting? "Not the others, just Barbara. Please. Black Seven promised me." His hands were shaking and I narrowed my eyes. Psychopaths tend to play different personas easier, might've been just that.

Riddler looked from Jervis to Bloom and back at Joker, already opening his mouth to - hopefully - agree but got stopped by Scarecrow. "I think we should ask Harley, I'm not sure about what Gordon says."

Mr. Bloom giggled and shook his head as Jervis looked at him just as confused as I was. "Black Seven didn't tell you? He's going to kill her tonight, stupid you." A soft laugh rose from his throat and Scarecrow's eyes twinkled in confusion. "I'm not okay with that. When he first informed me about it, I kept my thoughts to myself but...shouldn't we talk to him ab--"

I stopped listening as Joker tightened his grip on my wrists that were handcuffed to make this whole plan look real. "Joker, stay in character!" My voice was merely more than a whisper while I noticed he was shivering and quietly groaning in anger.

"Still, I thought Jim was dead after Joker lured him to Black Seven..."

Now I was at the edge of self control after Jervis' astounded words. "You did what?" I turned around to Joker and glared at him in total hate but couldn't even react as fast as Joker ripped off his fake moustache and jumped at Mr. Bloom with a damn nail gun in his hands!

'The lunatic carries a nail gun with him?!' My thoughts were interrupted as Riddler ran towards me with a knifes in his hands and I had to quickly free my hands from the handcuffs. "I knew this was a trap! I knew it!" Nygma - surprisingly fast - pulled his arms back as I tried to grab them and keep him from stabbing me. 'The heck did he learn that?'

Meanwhile, I saw Joker easily knocking out Jervis and quickly punched Scarecrow in the throat with his fist, causing him to spit blood through his mask and fall down, twitching and shaking in pain.

"Tell me where the frack Black is!" The way Joker screamed at Mr. Bloom made Riddler freeze in surprise and I immediately punched him in the face to render him unconscious. 'So far, so good.' My eyes moved over to Joker who held the nail gun against Bloom's spine with one foot in his neck. "I'm gonna send a damn nail every two seconds through each of your ugly bones if you don't tell me now!"

I had to do something, but first, I needed to free Nightwing and the others so I quickly ran over to them with one of Riddler's knifes to cut the ropes that were tied around theirs arms, hands and legs.

"Why don't you get to the root of the problem, Joker?" I heard Bloom asking with an angry chuckle as I helped Damian up.

"Why don't you take your roots and flower mouth and go pollinate yourself?!" Joker growled and sent the first nail right up Mr. Bloom's right heel, making him scream in pain.

"Did I just imagine that..." Nightwing blinked confused as he tried to stop a wound on his belly from bleeding. "...or are Joker and Bloom having a plat-pun-fight?" He gasped as Batgirl helped him walking but grinned as I nodded.

"You all can take care of yourselves? I gotta settle something." I actually didn't wait for an answer but instead turned around and tackled Joker off Bloom who didn't move with blood coming from his head.

Joker sighed in annoyance as I pinned his hands to the ground so he couldn't move. "You killed Jim?" I yelled at his pale, a little bloody face and felt the need to snap his neck as he grinned. "Well, actually, I only brought him to Blacky." He tried to free his hands but I was far more strong than him. "Who knows what he did, but I made a deal with the guy today which he seemed to have broken." His emerald green eyes stared over to Bloom who was still laying there, more blood coming out of his head.

The pure anger over that madman let me just black out for a moment, all I noticed was my right hand soaking up with warm blood but I didn't get where it was coming from. 'Why did I let him live all those years?' The only thought that was locked in my mind was the same thought I was secretly afraid of. Only difference: this time I didn't push it back. I didn't ignore it. I just...gave in to it.

'Kill him!'
