6 years after graduation. 6 years after Klaus's very memorable declaration of his love for Caroline. Tyler and Caroline broke up 4 years ago, and he is dating Hayley Marshall somewhere in the mountains. Hope was never born, and Hayley and Klaus never slept together. Camille and Klaus are a couple in New Orleans, and have been for about 3 months. Elena and Damon are still together. Katherine is now friends with everyone, but rarely visits because she stays in Europe with Stefan.
"Come on, Elena. You're telling me you've never seen Teen Wolf? That's crazy!" Caroline said to her bestfriend since literally forever.
"Care, give her a break even if she hasn't seen the best show ever!" Bonnie joked.
"Okay you two. Enough with the double teaming, thank you!" Elena said while simultaneously throwing a pillow at both Bonnie and Caroline.
"Well, this was fun but I better be heading home, it's late." Caroline said while getting up and heading to the door.
"Yeah, I better go too, Elena. See you tomorrow at school. Hey, Care? Do you mind if I crash at your house tonight? My dad hasn't answered me and I don't want to be home alone." Bonnie asked.
"Yeah, Bonnie. It's no problem at all."
"Bonnie, you know you can stay here?" Elena said.
"Thanks, Elena. I'd rather not hear you and Damon though, no offense."
"None taken." Elena laughed.
Bonnie and Caroline headed to the car and made their way to Caroline's house. Bonnie and Caroline took a seat on the couch and watched some TV. "Hey, Bon?"
"Yeah, Care?"
"Do you ever wanna get out of this small town? I mean theres nothing here for me anymore. Nothing besides you and Elena."
"I don't know. I've never really thought about it. I mean, I guess theres nothing here for me either. You, Elena, and my dad maybe. Ever since Jeremy left, theres been no real reason to stay. Besides, Elena has Damon and my dad is rarely even home."
"I feel the same way, Bonnie. I mean, my mom's dead. She was the only thing that kept me here, and she's not here anymore. I'm constantly reminded of her every time I step foot in this town. I'm tired of it, let's leave."
"Let's do it, Care."
"Do what, Bonnie?"
"Let's leave Mystic Falls." At first, Bonnie was nervous. She had never been anywhere but Mystic Falls. Maybe that was the problem. She had never been out of her comfort zone. Even with her magic. "Let's go on a roadtrip. Let's go anywhere and everywhere."
Caroline couldn't believe it. She was gonna leave this small dishwater town and explore the world. Or, maybe she would go to the one place she knew she could go and be welcomed. The one place that she had been dying to go to for the longest time. New Orleans. "I have a better idea. Let's go to New Orleans." She said with a smile on her face. Boy, we're they gonna have fun!

So, what do you think? I know, I know, kinda boring. Unfortunately, the first couple chapters are. I have to have a backstory or else you would be totally confused for when the fun chapters come!
