It's been 2 days since Caroline was kidnapped, and things in the Mikaelson family were falling apart. Klaus almost never came out of his studio unless it was to get another bottle of liquor. He had already went through numerous bottle of bourbon and was left to drink vodka, which he hated. But hey, anything to keep the thought of losing Caroline off his mind. Bonnie, Elijah, and Kol had been trying to figure out a spell to counteract the spell that was blocking Bonnie from locating Caroline, but they weren't having much luck. Whoever took her, had an extremely powerful witch on their side. Rebekah had been going through old letters and pictures trying to figure out who kidnapped her. They had come to a conclusion that the kidnapper was someone who had a history with the Mikaelson family, especially with Klaus. She looked through old photographs dating all the way back to the 60's to try and figure it out. Rebekah had stumbled upon a letter, with similar handwriting to the one they had received. She ran it down to Bonnie.
"Bonnie, doesn't this handwriting look familiar?"
"Yes, it does. Wheres the letter from earlier?'
"Our dear brother Nik has got it, I'm afraid." Kol interrupted.
"Why does that matter?"
"Are you serious? I love my brother but there is no way I am getting anywhere near him during this situation." Rebekah replied to Bonnie.
"I'll do it. I'll get the letter." Elijah said. "I can talk more reason to him." Elijah opens the door to Klaus' study. As soon as he enters, he makes sure to dodge the empty bottle of vodka being launched at his head.
"Get out, brother!"
"Niklaus, we need to talk."
"Okay, let's talk brother." Klaus sits down and props one leg over the other. "Let's talk about how the love of my life who I just got back, has been kidnapped. Let's talk about how it's my fault because whoever did it, is doing it to get back at me. Let's talk about how she could be dead right now, and I can't do anything about it. So yeah, Elijah. I'm glad we could talk." Klaus proceeds to get up, open another bottle of vodka, and chug away.
"Brother, I assure to you that we will find you. You're not the only one who cares for Ms.Forbes. Take a look out there, would you? Everyone is doing their best to find any clues to where she is. Bonnie, Rebekah, and Kol might be onto something. But, we're gonna need your help."
"Anything. Just name it."
Klaus and Elijah proceeded to run through the letter one more time, along with Rebekah's letter she found. Bonnie expressed her thoughts of how she thought Camille could be behind everything, even if she was dead. Hell, everyone knows that no one in the supernatural world is actually dead. Rebekah showed everyone the letter she found upstairs. It belonged to Marcel. The handwriting matched from both letter and Kol recalled seeing Marcel and Camille being friendly before as well. Everything was finally coming together and making sense.
"I'm going to kill that back-stabbing bastard!"
"Nik, let's plan this our first. We can't risk anything." Rebekah proclaims.
"I'm with Rebekah on this one, brother." Elijah agrees. "If we rush in, we could be bombarded with so many unexpected possibilities. We all want Miss Forbes back, Niklaus, but we can't help her if we're stuck in there without a plan."
"As much as it pains me to say it, Elijah is right. Hell, do you guys even know where we need to go?" Kol asks.
"I'll do a locator spell, just give me a minute." Bonnie adds.
The Mikaelson clan soon figures out that Caroline is being held in an abandoned warehouse right outside of New Orleans. With Marcel running New Orleans, or as Klaus likes to put it, being an imposter, he most likely has an unlimited amount of vampires and werewolves at his disposal. With that being, the Mikaelson's will need some reinforcements. They give their friendly vampires in Mystic Falls a call. Within hours, Stefan, Damon, Elena, and Katherine show up. Kol was quite surprised when Stefan told him that Katherine would be joining. Within those hours, the Mikaelson clan had conformed a plan to get Caroline back. Everyone would fight the vampires and werewolves while Klaus, Elijah, Katherine, and Bonnie went to find Caroline. Bonnie would take care of the witches while Katherine watched her backs. Klaus and Elijah would go directly towards Caroline. Klaus would go for Caroline and anyone in his way, and Elijah would fight while Klaus cared for Caroline. Klaus confirmed that blood would be available to everyone, including his own in case of injury. He also told the Mystic Falls group that they would be allowed to stay in the manor for the time being and in future occasions. Everything was good to go.
Once the gang got to the abandoned warehouse, they were met by at least 20 vampires. Klaus looked at the vampires and looked at his gang and just laughed. He yelled to them, "Hope you guys are ready to die!" And so it began.
Stefan, Damon, Elena, Rebekah, and Kol went in first, fighting off the vampires while Klaus and Elijah proceeded inside with Katherine and Bonnie following. While fighting, Kol kept his eyes on Bonnie the whole time. Out of nowhere a vampire rushed towards Bonnie, but was abruptly cut off by Kol ripping out his heart. He made eye contact with Bonnie and mouthed be careful. She responded with a smile and a nod. Klaus proceeded to lead the way by ripping out the hearts of anyone who dared to come after him. Bonnie takes the lead by snapping the werewolves' necks with a flick of their wrist. "Eekayiss."
Katherine is right behind them, watching their backs for anyone who comes their way. Bonnie stops fighting for a quick moment and performs a quick spell to locate Caroline's exact location in the large warehouse. She holds both of her hands in the air and mutters, "Vesmatos insindia de la puzleis." In a matter of seconds, a thin trail of fire lead up the stairs and to a room. "Follow the trail, that's where she is."
Klaus gives Bonnie a nod, his way of saying thank you. Klaus walks up the stairs with Elijah right behind him, occasionally throwing a few vampires and werewolves over the railing. Klaus gets to the middle step and pauses suddenly when he hears the screams of Caroline, and her heartbeat stop.

He looks to the trail of fire, still barely lit. He follows it into the room. As much as it will pain him to see her in her state, he needs to make sure shes okay. No heartbeat doesn't mean she's dead, not dead dead at least. Her neck could just be snapped and she could be okay, but there could be worse. Klaus can't think about the possible negative outcome, all he can focus is on the love of his life.
Klaus opens the door and he can't believe what he sees. His heart is utterly broken.
