                             A war without end

 Five year later …

Jane was sitting on the floor of her bedroom that was across the hall from Luna’s , she was wearing a pair of black jeans and a navy blue shirt that said “ I am beauty , I am grace , I will punch you in the face.” Her legs crossed as she tried to meditate , well …. She was trying to focus on assembling her knifes , for when she and Luna escaped from their captivity , the place where Jane called her second home , now under Imperial control . “I wonder how In8410.somnia doing , I am the reason why they are currently losing this god dreadful war . I wonder if Noctis is alright , I hope that his energies have healed by now , it has been twelve long years . on that notion , I need to get Luna out of Tenebre today before they leave ….” Jane thought .

There was a knock on her door as she got up and walked to open the door .

“Hello , Renna…” Jane said to her maid .

“Mistress Jane , Mistress Luna requests your presents in her room , she also told me to tell you to pack your bags , keep it light .” Renna announced .
Jane walked to her closet and pulled a bag out of the back , then walked to Luna’s room .

“ Jane … Do you have everything you need ? We need to leave quickly , before they come .” Luna spoke .

“ I’ve been packed for weeks , I also have the plans and the keys to the boat .
  We should go now …” With that notion , they opened the door and walked down the stairs .

“You must hurry your highnesses , they will be back any minute .”
Another maid said .

“Thank you .”  Luna said . Jane and Luna both walked to the front doors of the castle , until with a swift swing , the door opened and their stood Ravus with the Magitek troopers .

“Didn’t I tell you two to stay in your rooms ?” Ravus looked down and saw the bags they were holding in their hands. He had a look of anger as he sent Janefreya back to her room , Jane tried to protest but the soldiers had just grabbed her by her arms and pulled her away .

When she got back to her room , she tried to get out , only to find that they had locked her doors . she moved closer to her door with frustration , trying to listen in on Ravus and Luna’s conversation .

All she could here was few words like “selfish” , and “Lap dog” , but what she heard clear as day was “ That boy will never be king”. He was talking about Noctis ,the true king , the boy she had meant sh long ago , the boy who had so much on his shoulders . Of course Noctis was going to be the next king , the True King as many would call him , the fate of the world rests on his shoulders , the shoulders of a young twenty year old .

At this point Ravus had left Luna’s room and went to her room , and unlocked her door . There was a small swift click of the door as it opened , and there stood Ravus glaring at her .
“ You were going to run were you not?” He said with a sharp tone . Jane didn’t answer , she knew it would get both her and Luna into more trouble than they already were .

“ Jane , i don’t want you putting these crazy ideas inside of Luna’s head ,
Yes , i know it was you who came up with the idea to run away from Tenebre, and don’t even try to deny it .” Jane , who didn’t want to get Luna in trouble with Ravus , accepted all the blame .

“I’m sorry cousin , i should never have brought Luna into my own problems and conflicts , I will not influence Luna with my own unacceptable and unrealistic ideas and morals .” Jane lied .
“ At least you understand what’s at stake , with Luna being engaged to Noctis, and what it shall bring for the empire , This is the only safe place for the two of you , and the only place where you can call home .”
