When we got to the dorms I was amazed at the size of the building. There were 2 cop cars in front, and men standing at the entrance. We got out and the police got out of their cars and came to talk to us.
"We have his name and description and are watching all entrances, plus as you can see your private security is also at all entrances."
"Thank you." Said Jungkook and he bowed to them. We walked up to the door and he bowed to them as well and they bowed back. "Thank you guys"
"No problem Boss." they said in unison, making me giggle.
"It's good to hear that, its the first time I've heard you laugh."
"I haven't had much to laugh at lately."
Jin had gone on ahead before us when the police stopped to chat so the door was open. We went in and everyone was waiting for us.
The room was so spacious, and obviously inhabited by a bunch of guys. We all went to an area with a couple of big couches and a few other seating choices, like a bean bag chair and a recliner. Jungkook picked a love seat and patted the other half next to him. I sat down next to him but not close, as I was nervous and we were practically strangers.
"Before everyone starts asking me a bunch of questions... let me answer a few so you don't have to ask. It was an arranged marriage, my father set it up when he was dying of cancer, my mom died right after I was born.
I was 17 when I married him and I have been kept mostly in the house except for grocery trips sometimes. Ummm, what else? Oh yes, he didn't usually hit me, I tried to do everything the way he liked so he didn't have a reason."
"That sounds horrible." Jimin said looking devastated for me.
"Your face right now? Why did that happen?" J-Hope asked.
"When he found the phone. I made a mistake and it was under my pillow."
"That is my fault." Jungkook - with a haunted look.
"No, it's Bo's fault." RM continued "He never had a right to hurt you. No matter with the reason."
I scooted closer to Jungkook, took his hand.
"Jungkook, RM is right, it isn't your fault. Imagine if you hadn't helped me. I probably would have been there until the day Bo died.
In fact, many times I would try to figure out how many years I had left. I thought I was lucky he was so much older."
"Oh my GOD, I can't imagine how horrible that must have been!" that was Tae.
Just then there was a knock. Suga jumped up and went to answer it.
"Hello, who is there?" smartly not opening the door.
"Security, just have some news."
Suga opened the door. Sure enough it was one of the security guards from the door.
"Miss Rose, I was asked to tell you that Bo is downstairs and wishes to talk to you. We told him to leave but he is insistent that we at least told you."
The 6 remaining members of BTS all jumped up at once and joined Suga at the door.
"Stay here Rose." Jungkook said, and they all disappeared into the hallway.
I had no intention of staying there alone, so I followed.
I heard them before I saw them.
"Rose doesn't ever want to see you again..."
"You make me sick, I should.."
"How dare you hit a woman.."
Just a few things I heard before I saw them.
"Jungkook.." I managed to squeak out.
"I told you not to come down here!" he immediately moved to get in front of me to block Bo's view.
"Rose! Rose! I'm so sorry, I have been a bad husband! I am so sorry! Please come back and let me show you I can be the husband you deserve, please!!"
I put my hand on Jungkook's chest and looked into his eyes. "Let me talk to him, I promise I won't go anywhere." I whispered to him.
He looked down at me and pleaded with his eyes.
"I .. can't stop you." he relented.
I took a deep breath and steeled myself. I had a thousand thoughts racing through my head. There was not a chance in hell I would go back to him, surely he knows that. Maybe he just needs to hear that.
I stepped from behind Jungkook and looked at Bo. I gasped. He was crying, his eyes red, nose crusty even. His clothes were disheveled and dirty and he had smudges of something on his face. Oh. Blood. Probably from the altercation at the apartment.
When he saw me he dropped to his knees.
"Rose, my beautiful Rose, I didn't know what I was doing! I thought if I kept you hidden you wouldn't leave me. I was right too." he threw a look at Jungkook.
"Bo, if you hadn't kept me locked up and been a good man to me.. how do you know I wouldn't have loved you? You think I am shallow? My Dad wanted a man to protect me, but not like that."
"Yes, I screwed up. I should have been that man. Let me do the right thing now! Please! I broke my vow once, and I won't do it again! You are my WIFE!"
"No, it's too late, I'm sorry. Go home."
"What will people say, what about my job? Please, if you forgive me I will make it right!"
"You no longer have a job, Bo." I couldn't see who said it, but it was one of the guys.
"How could you do that to me! How will I pay my bills?" Bo, but angry now.
"This is not their fault Bo, you need to go. I'm sure you will be fine. You told me that with our savings we could flee and live off of it for a long time, I'm sure with one less person it will last longer."
"Sorry M'am, but that is wrong. He has charges to face in court." said one of the Police officers.
"Oh, even better. That little shit took my wife, got me fired and arrested."
"Sir, you better leave before you get more charges."
"Are you going to let him do this to me Rose? Ruin me? Please, just come with me."
"NO! I will NEVER be with you again." I said with as much confidence as I could muster.
"You will regret this when this little piece of shit cheats on you or gets bored of you."
"Out from under your thumb I will be fine no matter what happens." I didn't give him time to reply, I turned around and walked back to the dorm. I heard some more shouting but I ignored it.
