Slumber Party

When we were all back up in the main room of the dorm it felt awkward. After no one spoke for 5 straight minutes, which felt like an eternity, I cleared my throat and began to speak. 

"Let's not make this weird guys, It's not like I'm expecting to move in. You brought me here so I assume I have a little bit of time to figure out what I'm going to do." Just then my stomach growled loudly. Grins popped up all around me. 

"And, what I want first is something to eat." I giggled.

Jin jumped up and ran to the kitchen. "I got you! One minute."

"Rose, this isn't some temporary thing. You are part of the Big Hit family and you will be taken care of. This company did you a disservice by never questioning why he never brought you to office functions. People have been curious about you for a long time." RM explained.

"Yeah, that's true." J-Hope said nodding his head emphatically and the heads of the others all were bobbing too. 

"I know we don't know each other very well, but I know I already have feelings for you. I am not one to start up random flings. You are the first and only girl I have ever brought here. I hope you will give us a chance to get to know each other." Jungkook was looking at me very seriously.

"Okay, you should know then that I haven't ever had loving feelings for Bo. There was a time, in the beginning, when I planned on giving him a chance. The minute my Dad died he locked me up and that was that. I have never felt like his wife, not ever."

"However, I hope that I will have a bed to myself or I can sleep on a couch." I added. 

"No, tonight we are having a slumber party. We are all sleeping out here." RM said and looked at each member, who all apparently thought it was a great idea. 

They all got up and headed off to grab their pillows and such. I sat on the love seat and thought over the events of the last few hours. I went from being alone in the world to have what felt like a family. At the very least I had gained 7 new friends. 

"Here you go Rose!" Jin said handing me a bowl full of tteokbokki. It looked so delicious!

"Yum! OMG! This smells amazing! Thank you!"

"Where did everyone go?"

"We are having a slumber party out here tonight, so no one is alone!" Jimin said as he ran into the room with his arms full of blankets and pillows. "Be right back again!" he hollered as he ran back to his room. 

"OOO that sounds awesome, I will be right back too!" Jin said as he too ran off. 

I ate quickly. It felt like I hadn't eaten in a year. The guys kept running back and forth. I caught Jungkook before he ran off again. "Where is the bathroom?" 

"Follow me!" 

I grabbed my bag and followed him to the bathroom. 

"Thanks."

I went in and locked the door. There was a shower inside so I laid out my PJ's and clean underwear, stripped, and jumped in the shower. It felt amazing on my sore and tired muscles. I washed up finally and got out. Brushed out my hair and got dressed. 

When I went to leave the bathroom, I realized I had nothing to put my dirty clothes in, or for that matter somewhere to put my bag. 

"Hey, Jungkook!" I called. He was there in front of me in less than a second. I laughed. "Can you get me a bag, or someplace to put my dirty laundry?"

"Here, just put them in my dirty laundry. Follow me. Tomorrow we will get things better under control and maybe go shopping for some more clothes. You need more than just a change of clothes." 

I followed him down the hall to his room, I noticed that pretty much all the rooms said whose they belonged to, thankfully I couldn't accidentally enter the wrong room. His room was amazing. It was huge! There were tons of shelves with various items and a computer desk with a big desktop computer. He pointed to a laundry basket and I threw my clothes in. 

"You can leave your bag in here too, feel free to come into my room for your stuff anytime."

"Alright, thanks." I said and happily put my bag down, then we returned to the main room. They had made me up a couch, while most of them were going to be on the floor. I was thankful but felt bad they would be on the floor. I didn't say anything though because I knew that they would insist anyway. 

The TV was on and they were discussing what we should watch. 

"What would you like to watch, I think we should let you pick something first." Jungkook asked/said.

"Umm.. well guys. He didn't let me watch TV.. I have no idea what's out there right now." 

They all made shocked sounds. "Let's pick one of the new k-dramas! I bet she would love that one...  you know, that Tae is in!!" Jimin exclaimed.

"What? You did a Kdrama?" I asked Tae, shocked.

"Aish!!" he sighed. 

Before he could say anything else they had pulled it up on the screen and started the first episode. It was called Hwarang. 

Watching it with the 7 of them made it a little hard to follow but they quieted down about halfway through the first episode. When a couple of them started nodding off, Jungkook said to me that they had all seen it multiple times and not to worry about them missing any. 

"You can stay up as late as you want to watch it. I know it might not be easy to sleep in a strange place with all you've gone through." 

"Okay, I appreciate that."

They showed me the remotes to use and how to turn it all off. I ended up getting to the 5th episode before I felt sleepy enough to turn it off. 

My last thought before falling asleep was not of Bo, it was of my newfound family. I fell asleep without fear for the first time since my father died. 

I slept the sleep of the dead.
