I wake up to a hand brushing my hair out of my face, and the familiar smell of tea. As I manage to pry my eyes open, Tobias leans over me, a grin stretched across his face. A steaming mug sits next to him on my nightstand, as well as a blueberry mufffin from my favorite cafe down the street. I smile softly, leaning into his hand.

"Morning, beautiful," he whispers. I hum back.

"Morning. You're still here?" He laughs.

"Trying to get rid of me already?" I shake my head.

"After last night? Never." He leans over me and kisses my forehead softly.

"Last night was definitely one for the books." I snort, covering my face with a pillow as I feel my complexion glow bright red.

"Where you going? You think a pillow is going to save you from me?" His hands begging to attack my sides, and I shriek with laughter as he crawls on top of me, pinning me to the bed. The pillow falls away as we tussle, and I barley even hear the click of the door opening.

"Jesus! About damn time. You could cut the sexual tension between you too with a knife." Both of our heads snap up, and Tobias rests on his arms atop me. Christina is practically crowing with delight  from the doorway, her hair still mussed from sleep and her glasses sitting slightly askew on top of her face, as she hasn't had the time to put in her contacts yet. My face burns an even deeper red and I chuck a pillow at her and she dodges, laughing as she begins to close the door.

"Your walls are thinner than you think, my dear." I shriek and Tobias groans from above me. The door clicks shut, and he turns his head back to face me. I detect a small blush spreading across his face.

"So... I guess we weren't as quiet as we thought?" I burst into laughter. He shakes above me as chuckles fall from his lips. When we've finally caught our breath, he brushes a piece of hair behind my ear. My breath catches in my throat as he surveys my face, seemingly taking in every single feature. My face grows red with self consciousness, and I clear my throat.

"Are you going to let me up to have that tea or am I going to have to wrestle it from you?" He smirks, rolling off of me and allowing me to sit up. He hands me the warm cup, exactly made to my liking. I smile and take a sip, trying not to moan at the contact of the sweet liquid on my tongue. I set the mug down, turning on my side and resting on my elbow to face him. He does the same, and his hand finds my waist.

"So.. last night," he begins

"Last night was spectacular, for me anyway."  He smiles, his eyes growing excited.

"Yeah?"

"Yeah." He leans in, slowly pressing his lips to mine. I let him roll me onto my back as our kiss grows more heated, his hands slipping down to my ass as he cups it. I run my hands through his hair, gripping the ends of it and tugging, making him grunt. His kiss moves to my neck, and my body feels like it's bursting into flames. His hand slowly reaches down to creep up the shirt I had retrieved in the middle of the night, climbing higher, higher-

My phone blares from the side table, and we both jump. He groans as he rolls off of me, handing me my phone. I rub my eyes, trying to regain my breath. I frown at the screen, as Eric's name flashes across it. I swipe to answer it, my breath still shaky.

"H-hello?"

"TRIS! WHERE THE FUCK HAVE YOU BEEN? WE'RE OPENING IN AN HOUR AND YOU'RE NOWHERE TO BE FUCKING FOUND!" I wince and hold the phone away from my ear.

"I know, I'm on my way, the roads are really bad. Give me ten-"

"I DONT GIVE A SHIT! GET YOUR ASS DOWN HERE NOW. AND YOU'RE CLOSING FOR YOUR TARDINESS." The call ends, and I sigh. Tobias looks stone faced, and I reach out to rub his hand.

"It's fine, he's just pissed because  nobody's going to want to come into the bar because of the snow. It'll be a light work day."  He sighs, falling back on the bed. He reaches out and rubs my lower back.

"I hate that you work for that asshole. That's not the way you should treat a lady." I smile, leaning over and pressing a soft kiss to his mouth. I stand up and stretch, my back cracking. Crossing the room, I pull on a clean shirt, a sweater, and jeans. Tobias pulls on his clothes from the previous night, and we both pull on our boots.

As we head to the front door, I can barley make eye contact with a grinning Christina leaning against the breakfast bar.

"See you tonight!" I call as I lock the door. We get into Tobias's car and he make the usual 10 minute walk  go by in five. As we pull up  in front of the bar, he leans over and runs his hand through my hair.

"I had a really good time last night. I'll text you at lunch ok?" I nod. He leans over and kisses me hard, my hand coming up  to cup his face. As his tongue starts to slip over my  lower lip, a car behind us honks. We jump apart, and I  grin as I climb out the door. He waits until I'm safely inside before slowly pulling away.

Sighing, I hang up my jacket and scarf and pull on the dark black apron. I head to the bar, where Eric is leaning against it smoking a cigarette. When he sees me, he blows out a puff of smoke angrily.

"Where the fuck have you been?" I begin to wipe down the counter, avoiding his gaze.

"I told you, the roads were bad and the sidewalks weren't clear yet so it took me a while to walk and-"

"Bullshit." He growled. " I saw you getting dropped off in front, you stepped out of the black car. Don't fucking lie to me." I begin to get nervous

"I'm sorry, you're right, a friend dropped me off this morning." He laughs rudely.

"Friends? You and I both know the only 'friend' you have is that Christine chick. And I know she can't afford a car like that." My face flushes and I have to bite my tongue. He smirks

"So what? Got a little lucky last night? Is that why you're late, because finally someone got between those skinny little legs of yours?" My stomach churns, and I feel sick.

"No! Absolutely not! I overslept-"

"Sure, sure," he says mockingly. He leans in close, and I can smell the smoke in his breath.

"I'll let it slide this time, because God knows you need to get laid. But if this ever happens again, you're ass is out in the snow. Got it?" I swallow hard, fighting back tears.

"Got it."
