"Alice." Both drew a sigh of relief as the young girl lunged into Fae's arms. Fae closed her eyes and held her tight as she cried," My dear what are you doing out here alone? Where's your mother?" She sets the child down, crouching down to her level, brushing her tears and her matted hair out of her face," Where is Irene?"

"They took her. They ambushed us in the night as we slept, it all happened so fast." The child whimpers

"When was that?"

"Last night, they're hanging her at some place called Diablo Ridge. I listened into the guards."

"Clever girl." Fae smiled, taking her hand, she led the girl to a chestnut steed and helped her up," Listen to me closely, Alice. We are camped not too terribly far, at an overlook. Follow the road up, if you ride past the large rock formations, you went too far. Take the first right, ride it up, Bill is on guard. He will take you to Delilah and Finnick ,they will take care of you until I get your mother."

"I wanna stay with you."

"Alice, you know the risks. You're safer at camp, with your brother and sister. I will be back as soon as I can and I'll have your mother. Trust me child, you're safer this way." She let go of the girl's hand," Cross the river, and turn right.Go!" Fae smacked the horse's butt, sending him running off.

She returned to Silver Dollar, climbed up into the saddle and counted her rifle rounds. 50. Let's hope this wasn't a small army. She rode like a blur flashing through the air, as quickly as she could. Up the hillside, into the forest, ducked under tree branches, until she found them in a clearing.Fae silently lowered herself from the tall steed, wrapping his reins around a tree, creeping towards the execution sight. Creeping one eye out from behind a tree, she was able to see the scene pretty well. There had to be at least a dozen or more men, she's dealt with more alone. By the cliff side, was a lone tree, where the tall blonde outlaw stood on a stool. Her hands tied, a noose around her neck, a cocky smile on her bloody beaten lips. That was Irene for sure.

Near Irene was a hunchback preacher in a long black robe reading her last rites,"Through this holy anointing may the Lord in his love and mercy help you with the grace of the Holy Spirit. May the Lord who frees you from sin save you and raise you up. Madam may god help you."

"God has never helped me sir, how do you think I ended up here." She chuckled

A man leaning on a tree, Fae imagined this the executioner, he held the reins to a mule that had the rope tied around its horn," Any last words?" He pressed a whip to the mule as he spat tobacco at Irene's feet

"Yeah." She turned her head and looked at him," I didn't catch your mother's name, could you give it to me? So when I reach heaven I can tell her she raised a bitch."

The man raised the whip in the air, but he was stopped. A whistle filled the air, a whistle that brought a smile back to Irene's lips. Little did the man know, sights lined up right between his eyes. That was just no whistle, it was a feared whistle. It was Fae's whistle. A simple tune she used to get someone's attention, not too long but not too short, long enough to confuse her poor victims but short enough to not give away her location. She could give a list of the thousands of times she's used it: ambushes, robberies, kidnappings. The list went on and on.

Irene looked back at the man," Oh honey don't look at me. That's the harbinger of the end times." Then she mutters to herself," Kick their asses Fae."

A bullet broke the frozen silence, the executioner fell to the ground dead. Then before anyone could react, the man nearest to the edge of camp crumpled to his knees, dead. A blade stuck in his throat, the man next to him folded like paper, under the weight of the same fate. She dropped three more before revealing herself," Howdy Irene." She gives a two finger salute then raises her rifle to her shoulder," Could you give me a second while I take care of this varmine?"
