" Was it like last year or...." I reply.
" Last year. She broke up with me on the last day of school."
Does he still like her? I have so many questions!
" Wow! That sucks."
" Ya. I was pretty upset over the summer."
" Oh." Is all I manage to say.
Awkward silence. Should I ask more questions? Will I seem pushy? Ugh!!
" Do you still like her?" I break the silence.
" No."
" Ok."
" I think she still has feelings for me though. But I don't. Were just friends."

" What changed your mind?" I ask.

" I don't know. One day I just decided not be sad anymore, and live my life."
