Abby talking That night i had mom pick the kids up and have them for a few days. That night Ryan and i went to dinner and to the movies. This was the first time we've ever been together without kids. It was the best. I actually got to spend some adult time with my husband without having to worry about paying the sitter. In those 3 day u spent almost as much time as i did with liam when we were married. It was amazing.
Ryan talking Abby is my beautiful wife and spending time with her made our marriage stronger then its ever been before. The next morning i got called in to work and had to leave. Abby was still asleep so i just left a note.

Ryan talking At the station the SWAT team captain wanted to talk to me. He offer me a job as lieutenant. He said that id have to be on call alot but that the pay is better. I asked him if i could talk it over with my wife and get back to him. He said yes but that i should really consider it because he believed that no one else would be a better fit. I got home that night its almost 9:30 autumn is still awake and cody is sick. I walk Autumn to her room and sit with her while she falls asleep. I go into Codys room and see abby holding sleeping baby Cody in rocking chair. His fever hasnt gone down any. She says with concern in her eyes.
Abby talking Im really worried about Cody since he came home from my moms hes been super sick. Ryan wants me to take him to the ER tonight because hes having a hard time breathing and his oxygen levels are low. I call K and have her meet me at the hospital. At this point Cody is struggling for air so the registration lady has them take us back without finishing. A nurse leads us to a room that has scooby doo on the walls. I sit on the bed and hold Cody so they can out a oxygen mask on him. The doctor come in and examines Cody. He listens to His lungs and tells me that he has pneumonia and should be admitted immediately. Just then K knocks on the door and sets tanners carrier down.
Keirston talking So what did he say? i ask abby. Its pneumonia she says with a tear rolling down her cheek. They want to admit him. My phone is almost dead i need to let Ry know. Ok ok i say clamming her down ill text him and have him bring you your charger. The nurse comes in and starts a IV for cody. It was so sad that we had to hold him down. He cried himself to sleep. We got to the room and they brought me a extra bed so that abby can stay with him. Cody was set up in a crib fast asleep.

Abby didnt leave his side one minute everyday until Ry came and made her go home and shower. She went home and got some clean clothes she didnt shower at home she took a shower at the hospital. After a few days the dr said that they were gonna put cody on a stronger antibiotic because the one he was on before wasnt working enough.
Abby talking I refuse to leave Codys side he need me right now. Ryan tried to get me to go home a nd shower but i just got clothes and showerd here at the hospital. Mom and Autumn came up to see cody a few hours ago. When mom saw what a mess i was she told K that if i get worse to call Ryan and have him send me home. Suddenly Codys oxygen starts to drop. He starts gasping for air as the doctor and nurses rush in. His lung collapsed the dr says we need to do surgery now. In shock i freeze unable to speak. K comes up to me and tells me to make a decision but im in such a state of shock i cant speak. So she tells Ry to make the decision instead. He gives the dr the ok and the nurse grabs Cody and they go to the OR. Ryan talking Because Abby was in shock i gave consent for the drs to save my son. I also have the doctor make sure abby is ok to. He says that she will be ok but that shes dehydrated and has little to no protein in her system. They put her on IV fluid and some soup to get her started. We haven't heard anything from the doctor about Cody its been almost 2 hr......
