chapter 15 Big decisions

The next morning i made breakfast. Its about 7:15 in the mornin. Today the guys are leaving to go and put the houses up for sale. It's also Autumn first day at lighthouse school the exact place were Abby and I went when we were in 5th grade. It's hard to believe that Autumn is 11 years old and Cody is 4 1/2 he will be going to kindergarten half a day every day until he turns five. As for the twins quillian and adrial they are now 4 months old, Tanner is 8 1/2 months old and is beginning to look a lot like me.

Yo Zach! Yeah Zach reply let's go get the truck tires rotated. I don't want to risk crashing. Babe Abby says yeah Ryan replied are you sure we are doing the right thing moving here? Abby we talked about this its perfect we will put the kids in the same school you went to, and on top of that they will get to have a relationship with their grandma. It's gonna be fine. I promise.

Ryan kisses me on the head before he gets in the truck and drives off. I look at the baby monitor in my hand and see levi is awake i go and get him. I tiptoe into the nursery where he is and check on liam before i get him. I pick him up and change his diaper before giving him his binky. Its kinda weird he will take a binky but Liam will refuse it he prefers sucking on his thumb. I look to see what time it is and see that its 3:09 PM i have less then 5 minutes to pick autumn and cody up before they charge me a $10 per child late pick up fee i race across town to pick them up luckily K was at home to stay with levi who was still asleep when i left i took Liam with me since he was already awake. . We got home and i notice a silver car drive by slowly. I didn't think much of it and went inside. I saw keirston and levi sitting on the floor playing with toys. I take Liam over and let him play with his brother. We are having brother caleb and mrs Amber over for dinner. I get the steaks out of the fridge and put some steak rub on them by this time ots 4:45. Brother Caleb and Mrs amber are coming around 5:30 to 6ish for dinner.

I start the grill for the steaks and asparagus. Its now almost 5:30 so i don't put the steaks on just yet. I don't know how brother caleb likes his steak so ill just wait so i know. I put the baked potatoes in the microwave so that they stay warm then I set up the kiddie table for Grayson,Autumn and Cody to eat at.

Everything was ready I got some Arizona tea for brother Caleb and some caffeine free coke for Mrs Amber and coolaid for the kids. For dessert I made some deep fried chocolate chip cookie dough which made the whole house smell amazing. They finally got to the house and i made the steaks after dinner we played uno attack and a few other games including Aggravation which i beat brother Caleb's butt about 3 times in a row.

We had a great time at abby and Keirstons house and their kids are so precious caleb is excited about Autumn joining the youth group like her mom did. Hes gonna make her do all the same thing that he had Abby do when she joined the youth group and yes that includes proposing to jackson our youngest son. I never knew that abby and keirston were such good cooks it has been years since ive had rattails, i enjoyed every part of that dinner.

Im so proud of Abby and keirston they have really strived for living for God and raising their kids in church as well. I think Ryan is a bit of a better influence on Abby then Liam was. The thing with Liam was that he was angry at God for taking his little brother away at a very young age and because of that he went to alcohol for confort rather then God. He was a good man tho he was a good police officer and a even better man when it came to being there for abby when she was shot.

We stayed at abbys until 1:30 am grayson and Jackson both fell asleep on the couch i picked Jackson up and put him in the car while Amber woke grayson up and had him get in the car. We said our good byes and left.

After brother caleb and mrs amber left i cleaned up the kitchen and bit cody in his bed then i took Liam and levi and put them in their cribs and went to bed myself.
