Holding The Future

Ryan talking
Cody is now out of surgery and is sleeping. The doctor says that we will have to wake him up soon so that he can eat. I go down to the cafeteria and get cody some mac n cheese because i know he loves it, i also get him and i some dibs icecream mainly because Im craving chocolate. Abby asked zach to pick autumn up from school.

Zach talking
I go to pick up Autumn from school when she comes out she holding hand with a little boy that looks about the same age as she is i hop out of the car and help her into my truck. She rolled down the window and waved bye to her friend.

Who was that you were holding hands with i ask her thats my boyfriend she replies oh really? I ask yep sbe says whats his name i ask
Alex she replies. What is your daddy gonna think i say to myself. Uncle Zach autumn asks yes autumn i reply can we get icecream when you pick me up from school tomorrow? Sure kiddo i reply. We get to the hospital and i tell Ryan about the conversation me and autumn had on the way over.

I cant believe my little 6 year old girl is already into boys. I think it may be almost time to have "the talk" zach says. What are you boys talking about abby says as she walks in the room with some apple juice for cody. Autumn thinks she has a "boyfriend " zach says. A boyfriend you've got to be kidding me abby says trying not to laugh nope im not kidding she claims to have a boyfriend.

Autumn come here please i say sitting on the edge of my bed. Yes mommy she says as she comes up to me and starts messing with her bracelet. Who is your boyfriend? I ask her. Alex she replies. Does alexes mommy know that your his girlfriend? No she answers do you think we should maybe make sure its ok for you to be his girlfriend i ask? Yeah she says  well how about when i drop you off at school tomorrow we ask Alex's mommy to make sure ok? I ask ok she replies. Alright why dont you go play on daddys tablet ok? Ok she replies.
