Ryan talking
The doctor finally came out and told me abby was out of surgery and is in recovery. I asked if i could go in and see her and they let me. I walk in the room and see my wife hooked up to a bunch of tubes and wires. I pull a chair up next to her bed as close as i can and hold her hand telling her to stay with me. I couldn't imagine my life or our kids lives without her in it. Shes the foundation of our family. My life wouldnt be the same without her in it. I fell asleep crying. a few hours later the dr comes in with a cup of coffee for me and tells me he can have another bed brought in the room if I wanted to stay with her. I tell him id appreciate that he tells me that he will have someone bring one in for me. its now 12 in the after noon and Abby is now awake she is doing really well from the surgery they took her off the breathing tube and now have her just wearing oxygen. after a few hours she tells me I should take a break from being in the hospital and sends me out to get her some Starbucks coffee. shockingly they didn't have a Starbucks in the hospital so I had to take a Uber to Starbucks. When I get back to the hospital I find Abby eating lunch she has what looks like a spicy chicken sandwich from McDonald's and a large coke that she was saving for me. I ask her if she wants to skype with the kids so that they don't have to be worried about her as much. She said sure but to wait a little bit because she already asked pastor and he said that they are out and about right now. I tell her ok and then text pastor and ask him to call us at 6 their time.
It's now 10 almost 11 pastor forgot to call but that was ok because Abby fell asleep at 7:15 anyways. I take a quick shower and head to bed. The hospitals beds aren't very comfortable but I'll live. I look at my Facebook for a bit then go to sleep.
