The pull on the RESET button keeps getting stronger and stronger. Will I have enough determination to keep it? Let alone kill Chara? No... this.... imposter?

"That's what Chara wants?" My breathing hitched slightly as she shuttered in the cold, icy snow. "You..." I let out a slight chuckle. "You're lying." I said, unamused. I was confused, and distrustful. I didn't want to believe it. "You can't fool me, Chara. I'm immune to your deceptions." I said, feeling the anger starting to boil up inside of my crazed mind.

"SANS. SHE'S LYING. ITS HER WAY TO GET CLOSE TO YOU AND STRIKE YOU DOWN. WE DON'T WANT THAT, NOW, DO WE?" Papyrus said to me, and I nodded, regaining my composure as the suffering girl shivered in the icy temperatures of the snow. The white blizzard was still up and roaring, not making her situation any worse. "EVEN IF SHE WASN'T CHARA, THEN SHE KNOWS TOO MUCH ANYWAYS. IT WOULD BE BEST TO KILL HER RIGHT HERE." Papyrus grinned.

"Do... Do you know Chara?" She asked me, small tears running down her cheeks. "She threw me down here to-...to try and get rid of me! I-I... I knew too much about this place! Y-You have to believe me!" She tried to yell, by her hoarse screams only came out as small whispers— standing must require the energy she just didn't have at the moment. Being trapped in the cold. "I'm determined to stay alive! Because I won't give into what she's hoping that will happen!" She yelled.

"You're...." my eyes widened, "You're lying!" I screamed over the roaring winds, holding my head in pain. "You did this!" I screamed once more, feeling a pulse in my soul. "The dust that you created!" I yelled. "The dust that you befriended!.... The dust that you betrayed!!" I screamed, not looking into the sad, confused eyes of the human girl. Because once I looked into her eyes, I would only know the truth. I held my head in pain once more, pressing into my skull with brute force. "The dust that YOU YOU ERASED!" I screamed at her. "That was YOU!" I lost myself, laughing slightly, feeling the memories and pain of the murders I created in this timeline.

"It wasn't me!" She yelled back. "It wasn't!" She said. "I haven't hurt anyone! I would never hurt anyone! No matter how big, or how small!" She yelled at me, wobbling on her feet slightly, and her eyes rolled back a small bit. She regained her balance and stood back on her two feet.

She hugged herself and continued shaking, she didn't dare move. The human girl feared her life. She knew I held her life in the palm of my hands at this point. An unstable, crazed skeleton, who was driving himself mad with the memories he possessed. "SANS, BROTHER." Papyrus tapped my shoulder. "YOU NEED TO KILL THIS HUMAN." Papyrus said. "YOY NEED TO END HER LIFE HERE. SHE IS LYING TO YOU." Papyrus said, getting close to my ear. "SHE IS CHARA. SHE WILL WAIT UNTIL YOUR GUARD IS DOWN."

"This is so FRUSTRATING!" I yelled towards Papyrus. "I don't know!" I held my head more and pressed on it harder, feeling my HP drop slightly. I laughed at the feeling of my own pain, feeling a slight bit of a liquid substance on the tips of my skeletal fingers. My heart stopped slightly, and I brought my hand down slowly to look at my fingertips, where I saw the black substance dripping down my fingertips. The cold air of the blizzard made sure it stung. My eyes went dark, and I stared at the black blood.

Where have I seen this before?

"You're... Y-You're hurt!" The human girl said, walking to me slowly through the snow. She hugged herself, walking cautiously and slowly towards me, as if she could sense that I was a threat. "I'm .... I'm not going ...to hurt you..." she took deep breaths, shaking violently.

"SANS! KILL HER! KILL HER RIGHT NOW!" Papyrus screamed at me, pointing to the helpless human that had just enough courage to step forward towards me.

"Black...?" I asked myself, confused. I was frozen in my footsteps. My blood wasn't black. I knew that from the previous genocide runs. I needed to check my sou—!

"DO NOT LET HER COME NEAR US!" Papyrus hissed at me, barking at me to get my defenses up in case of an attack. His voice wasn't as clear as it was a few moments ago. His voice was fading. "SANS! SNAP OUT OF IT! ITS BLOOD! BIG DEAL! YOU HAVE BLED BEFORE! MANY TIMES! NOW KILL HER!" Papyrus pressured. His voice was becoming more faint. "SHE NEEDS TO DIE WHERE SHE STANDS! SHE WILL KILL YOU, BROTHER! SHE WILL DESTROY YOU AND EVERYTHING WE HAVE WORKED FOR!" Papyrus said, loudly and clearly, snapping me out of my déjà vu.

"Stay back!" I yelled, throwing an uncoordinated attack at her, which was unlike me, launching bones at her, only to miss every shot. She was an easy target. Why was the black blood throwing me off so much? Did I realize something that I hadn't realized before? "He says that you are Chara!" I yelled at her, causing her to stop in her tracks. "You're..." I said, trailing off. "Unless..." I said, quickly thinking of another decision. I needed to think quick.

Did Chara send her down here so I would think that she was dead? Then let my guard down?

"If you truly think I'm Chara..., then so be it. But I won't go down either a fight. Because that is what she wants!" she huffed, taking another step forward. "I can see it in your eyes..." She heaved, "You're capable of good, ...even if..." she huffed again. "...Even if you have felt that you have gone down a wrong path." Her eyes rolled back again, and she lost her balance once more, but she wasn't able to keep it. She collapsed into the snow. Death was imminent for her.

There, she said it again, the fact that Chara wanted her dead. Is killing her really the right option? "SANS! KILL HER!" Papyrus said. "YOU NEED TO KILL HER!" He said. "THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT WE HAVE BEEN PREPARING FOR...— FOR MONTHS! YEARS!" Papyrus pressured. "NOW IS YOUR CHANCE! STRIKE HER WHEN SHE IS AT HER WEAKEST!" Papyrus yelled.

"Wait a minute." I said, walking over to her, pulling up the human Girl's stats for confirmation. The girl's ID read 'FRISK' and didn't have a drop of LV. "Well, She was telling the truth about not harming anyone." I trailed off, looking at her frozen body. She only had a few minutes before she died.

"KILL HER, SANS!" Papyrus said, causing the irritation to build up inside of me. Not for 'Frisk', but for the first time, it was for Papyrus. "YOU NEED TO KILL HER!"

"Hang on." I said to Papyrus, checking her pulse. "She's still alive." I said. "Do you really think killing her is such a good idea?" I said to Papyrus, looking him in the eyes. He was taken aback, surprised I had questioned his motives. "I mean, it's what Chara wants, for her to be dead." I said. "Shouldn't that be a reason to keep her alive?" I said. "Maybe lead her out of the underground and lure Chara out, this striking her down?" I grinned, catching Papyrus' wandering eyes.

He hummed, and rubbed his chin. "Of course, we can just kill her afterwards, after we have used her, but she could be potential bait to lure Chara out of wherever she's hiding in Ebott City. It would be a whole lot better than searching the whole surface world." I said, seeing Papyrus' head nod slightly. "Is it a plan or what? Decide now, before frostbite really kicks in." I looked down at the snow in her hair. They really did look alike. Maybe Chara really was hoping to send a decoy, and kill me when I think I've done the task.

"I DON'T LIKE IT." Papyrus said. "BUT IF SHE PROVES TO BE A THREAT, MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A KNIFE ON YOU OR SOMETHING. BECAUSE SHE ISN'T WELCOME." Papyrus said, and I grabbed her wrist, teleporting into our home where her frozen skin was hoisted onto the couch by me. "THIS IS DANGEROUS, SANS." Papyrus said.

"I know." I said. "But we're just using her to get to the real prey." I grinned, grabbing a few blankets. "Killing her afterwards will be a joy to see the face of betrayal. Humans are so trusting nowadays." I chuckled.
