"Where is Hinata?" I asked.

"How should I know where your girlfriend is?" Naruto exclaimed. I rolled my eyes.

"Idiot. She's not my girlfriend."

"Then why do you want to know where she is?"

"She's my classmate!"

"But you never wonder where the rest of us are!"

"Forget it," I sighed exasperated. I sat down by the window and immediately Sakura and Ino began fighting. But I didn't pay any attention, I was busy thinking of Hinata's whereabouts.

"Alright class, settle down," Iruka commanded coming in.

"Today we will begin studying the different regions of the world," Iruka began lecturing. I zoned out as usual.

By lunch, Hinata still hadn't appeared. I couldn't focus due to her absence.

'Curse Naruto for mentioning her as my girlfriend. Now all I can think about is where she is!'

At the end of the day I packed my things and rushed home. Dropping my things off, I decided to run by the Hyuga household and see if I could spot Hinata.

Once there, I hid along the brick wall and looked for her. I saw her practicing with another person I didn't recognize. He had a loose ponytail and bandages on his right arm and leg.

When he knocked her over, I gritted my teeth for some unknown reason.

"Hinata, stop hesitating," he spoke in a serious tone.

"Y-yes Neji. I'm sorry," she responded.

"That's the other thing, stop apologizing."

"O-okay."

"You must become stronger if you want to reclaim you place as heir to the Hyuga family. Now, attack me."

As I watched them practice, I wondered what that guy Neji was talking about. Reclaiming her place as heir? How did she lose it?

After a while, I returned home and plopped onto my bed. Today had been an exhausting day and I was ready for it to end.

Without bothering to change, I quickly fell asleep.
