~FUGITO~
I was watching Hinata's exam. So far, she had lost on the test part of it. Her first sparring match was well won, but on her second, she let that blonde idiot win.
While throwing kunais at the board, it was clear she was under pressure.
'What if she doesn't win?' my mind wondered, 'it will certainly change things.'
As she was about to throw her last, her head turned. She was staring directly at me.
'I guess she spotted me, finally.'
I smirked at her. Her eyes hardened.
'Finally decided to take things seriously, eh?'
She turned back toward the target and breathed deeply. I smirked again. She raised her hand concentrating. It was all or nothing.
In one quick, fluent motion, she threw the kunai, and it landed directly in the center of the target.
The audience applauded as she turned back toward me. Her eyes were glaring while mine were mocking.
"The winner of the last round, is Hinata!" The crowd cheered and Hinata looked relieved.
'She really was desperate.'
As Iruka handed them all their forehead protectors, I sauntered to where the graduates stood, preparing to 'greet' Hinata.
"Hey," someone spoke. I turned and saw a raven-haired boy staring at me. His onyx eyes bore into mine, reminding me of someone I once knew. The forehead protector he wore glimmered refracting light.
'He must be one of the graduates.'
"Can I help you?" I asked uninterested. His gaze hardened.
"I saw Hinata was staring at you," he spoke, catching me off guard. I hadn't realized anyone saw, or even cared, where Hinata was looking. His question intrigued me.
"Lots of people stare at me, what's it to you?"
"Hinata wasn't just 'staring' at you, she was full out glaring."
I sighed. As interesting as it was, this person's intuitive nature was starting to get on my nerves.
"I don't know what you're talking about," I said, playing coy, "you must have been seeing things."
"Mm, yeah, probably." He shot me a sideways glance, then walked off. I noticed on the back of his shirt, a familiar symbol.
'Ah, so he is of the Uchiha clan!'
Humming to myself, I wondered if he could be of use somehow.
"Why are you here?" I stern voice sounded behind me. I chuckled to myself.
"Can't a relative cheer on another relative without being questioned?"
"Yes, but when it's you, it's suspicious," Hinata remarked. I rolled my eyes.
"Well, I saw what I wanted to see, so now I'll be leaving," I spoke casually. Her eyes narrowed in suspicion.
"And what were you trying to find?"
"Bye!" I called, ignoring her. Today had been a successful day. I was able to see how Hinata acts in a public setting, as well as with me. I'd have to continue using the Jutsu on her, or the past five years would all be in vain.
