2. Promise me

"How rare to see you, Kaede Akamatsu, in this part of the school... Guess you miss me, am I right?" Nagito said with his wicked smile. What should I do now? He is moving towards me. Slowly by slowly. Fudge NAGITO!! WHAT THE F*** SHOULD I DO NOW?!?!

I did a huge mistake. I tripped. I felt numb. I couldn't control or move my body, I was like a statue laying down on the floor. I can't even speak. And for a moment, I forgot about Nagito Boy. And I am sure that I am in great danger.

"Nagito Komaeda! Get away from Kaede! YOU FOOL!" It was Maki. Why is she here?She went close and hold Nagito's jacket and pulled him. She was so fast. She punched Nagito in his stomach and threw him in the wall. And then she punched Nagito (AGAIN) in the face, so many times. And lastly, she grabbed him in his jacket and threw him like trash. And then Nagito ran away. Such a stupid fool.

I was so shocked. How the heck did Maki become strong? How did a child caregiver, that should be sweet, become a killing machine?! My mouth was wide open. Maki turned to me. she ran to me.

"Kaede, are you okay?! Do I have to take you to the clinic or hospital?! That Nagi-"

"Thank you, Maki". I stood up but, I had a hard time doing it. What a miracle. And hugged her. 

And I feel her cheeks hot. Surprisingly, I was also. I am blushing. We hugged for a long time. I think I have fallen for... Impossible.

"Kaede, let's go. And never go here again. I don't want you to get hurt 'cause if you were, you'll leave me in despair. I can't let you get hurt again. I can never lose you. Never again.
