Training Day

It was a quiet Friday morning. You were already making your way up the trail to E-Class of the Old Campus and you decided to wake up earlier in the morning so you could get a head start to the class, and maybe get a surprise-kill attempt on your teacher. Unfortunately though, Nagisa wasn't awake yet when you had called him, so you weren't able to walk with him today, but luckily you both had agreed to kick it at your place once the day was over.

When you arrived, you stepped into the somewhat rugged building and headed straight to your class, only to find your teacher waiting, which completely caught you by surprise.
"Ugh... Of course." You muttered in a low tone.
The creature greeted you with the same widened grin, that you had witnessed when you first encountered him yesterday.
"(Y/N) (L/N)," he said with enthusiasm. "Well aren't you early! You must be pretty stoked to assassinate me, yes?"
You weren't too sure how he knew your name already, but you decided to shrug it off. You also couldn't help but notice the fact that his voice absolutely did not match the way he looked.

"You could say that," you replied, sitting down at your assigned your desk. "I was kinda hoping you weren't going to show up so early so I could at least surprise you with a gut punch or something."
This earned a chuckle from your teacher.
"Well, at least you were the first to try and take action! When you have a chance, take it; A good trait every assassin should possess."

You rose an eyebrow and direct a confused look in your teacher's direction.
"I understand we're supposed to be killing you n' all, but since when did we become assassins?"
Suddenly, one of his tentacles stretched its way over to your forehead and gave it a gentle tap, making you flinch.
"Ever since the second you stepped into this classroom, of course," He replies with a wider grin then normal.
It took you a moment to fully grasp what he meant, but you decided to go with it anyways.

Soon the rest of the students—including Nagisa—began piling through the door one at a time. Nagisa gave you a wave, as well as a small smile as he took his seat behind you. You smiled at him and waved back. The room became increasingly lively as everyone arrived and took their assigned seats.
You turned around in your seat to face Nagisa with a grin on your face.
"So, are we sticking with the same plans today after class?"
Nagisa nodded and leaned forward in his desk, slightly closing the distance between the two of you and resting his cheek in the palm of his hand.
"Yeah, we are. I'm actually surprised she was okay with it," He responded.
"Great, because I would've had to cry if you couldn't come," you said, somewhat jokingly.
Nagisa chuckled at this, a blush beginning to form upon his perfectly rounded cheeks as well.
Before you could say anything else, the class was interrupted by a gruff "Good Morning" coming from none other than Karasuma as he strolled into the classroom, paying no mind to our teacher.
Everyone, including yourself replied a Good Morning back in synchronization.
"... Today you all are going to begin your first day of Assassination training for today. We'll be going over combat tactics; not that they'll actually be able to connect to your teacher, but it's mostly a test of seeing how capable everyone in this classroom is... And (Y/N)," Karasuma called as he directed his attention toward you. You rose your eyebrows at him and waited expectantly.
