Juliet's POV:
I looked down at Justin and sighed as I sat next to his bed.
He looked terrible. Most of the bruises had obviously faded, so he must be better than before.
His legs were still in casts and his head was in bandages.
There were stitches and cuts everywhere on his face and even on his neck.
His right arm was in a brace and his left one was in cast.
I had his right hand gently gripped in mine.
I've been here for about an hour now and visiting time was coming to an end, but I didn't feel like leaving him behind.
I felt guilty about having to leave him here. It didn't feel right.
Just then the nurse came in to tell me that I needed to leave.
I sighed again and stood up. I kissed Justin's forehead lightly and then left.
I was going to be back to visit him again soon.
My next stop was going to be to get something to eat, before heading home.
For some weird reason, I had a bad feeling in my gut about going home, but I was trying to ignore it.
What possible reason could there even be for me not to want to go home?
Maybe it was just because I hadn't had contact with them for such a long time.
I got into my car and decided to go to a nearby Starbucks for some coffee and donuts.
However, while I was driving, I decided on pizza instead.
Caffeine was bad for you and donuts weren't really something that I liked to eat. It was just too sweet for me.
I stopped at a nearby pizza joint and went inside.
It was a cozy little place with a really relaxed vibe.
I went up to the counter where a girl sat filing her nails.
I stood there for a full five minutes, but she didn't look up.
"Excuse me.", I said, trying to get her attention.
Luckily, an older guy came out from the back and saw me waiting.
"Clarissa! Can't you see there's a customer waiting? This is the third time this week. I'm giving you one last warning.", he threatened and then came over to help me.
"Hi, what can I get you?", he asked with a smile while the girl was glaring daggers at me.
"A small meatlovers. That's all, thanks.", I said and paid.
He told me that my order would be ready in a minute and I nodded.
I walked over to one of the booths and sat down to wait.
The girl for the till walked up and stood opposite of me, her hands firmly planted on the table.
If looks could kill, then I'd be six feet under already.
"Can I help you?", I asked politely, even though it was pretty hard for me.
"Who the hell do you think you are? Coming in here and almost getting me fired?", she said in a threatening way.
"Honey, you did that all on your own.", I shrugged.
Something about her attitude and appearance seemed extremely familiar, but I just couldn't put my finger on it.
