Juliet's POV:
I woke up at 3:35am this morning, before my alarm was even set to go off.
I knew that I wouldn't be able to fall asleep again, so I just got up and went to take a shower.
When I was done, I got out and started getting dressed.
It was blue jeans with a white tank top, my black vans and my leather jacket.
I pulled my hair into a high ponytail and then added my sunglasses to finish off the look.
By the time I was done, it was already five.
As if sensing my thoughts, there was a knock on the door.
I already knew that it was my dad that was here to take me to hell.
My dad didn't wait for me to open the door, but instead just came in and started to carry my stuff out.
I sighed and swung my backpack over my shoulder, before walking out to my dad's waiting car.
I got into the back and pulled my backpack onto my lap.
While I waited for my dad, I tried to call Jake again, but I still got no answer.
It was starting to worry me. We had never gone this long without talking to each other.
But then again, he had never been this mad at me before.
I sighed and decided to just send him an apology text instead.
Something told that I was just wasting my time, but I still had to try.
I felt really bad about how we had parted ways and I wanted to make it right.
I didn't want him to stay mad at me, while I was thousands of miles away for goodness knows how long.
My dad finally got into the car and then we were off.
I watched the buildings passed me by and I already felt homesick.
Who would've thought that I would get so attached to this place?
Definitely not me.
The car ride was totally silent. Even the radio was off.
I wanted to ask how long was I was going to be punished for or talk my dad out of this, but I didn't.
My dad was obviously still mad and I knew he wouldn't want to listen to what I had to say.
So instead we drove in complete and very awkward silence.
Lucky for me, the ride didn't take too long.
My dad pulled up in front of a large building that had two gaint busses parked in front of them.
There were other teenagers standing around and talking like this wasn't a camp for juveniles.
They all clearly varied in age, but they all seemed excited to be here.
Weird.
For juveniles they all also seemed pretty disciplined and preppy.
They reminded me of Clarissa. Ugh. Hope they didn't act like her.
Anyway, to basically just sum it for you, this was not what I had been expecting.
I got out and walked over to the busses where the teens were now being placed in.
"Bence, Kayla.", the uniformed woman by the front bus called.
A girl stepped into the bus and the woman marked it down on her clipboard.
"Bell, Thomas.", she called next and a beefy guy left his group to get on.
This continued on for another few minutes as guys and girls got on the bus.
"Dawson, Juliet.", the woman called and I grumpily went towards the bus, my backpack swung over my shoulder again.
My dad had unpacked my suitcases from the trunk and then left.
No goodbyes. No good luck. No hug. No nothing.
I got on the bus and found a seat right at the back next to the window.
I sat down, pulled out my earphones and plugged in some music.
I played it lowly, so that I could still hear what was being said around me.
Finally the last few people piled in and the officer called our attention to the front.
I paused my song and turned to listen to her. Not that I really wanted to though.
"Right everyone, just a few things. One, I hope you all went to the bathroom, because there will be no stops along the way for the next two hours. Two, please do not throw any papers or packets on the floor. And lastly, get comfortable and enjoy the eight hour drive.", the woman before sitting down again.
Eight hours?! Did she say an eight hour drive is ahead?!
Where were we going? Canada? Or maybe Australia?
Like what the hell even? How are we suppose to keep busy for eight hours?
Nevermind, there were books under our seats.
How did I know? I saw the pile of books sticking out for under the seat in front of me.
I shook my head and played my music again as I stared back out the window.
The sun was just starting to rise. It was a beautiful sight.
All too soon, we started to leave the city behind us.
It made me both sad and angry. Sad, because I was leaving and angry that I was being forced to leave.
My phone vibrated and I checked to see a message.
Justin: Just wanted to wish you luck for your first day. You'll do great. Make me proud.
I smiled and quickly shot him a thank you back.
He did always know how to make me smile again.
Justin and I ended up texting for half of the ride.
Eventually he had to go though, so we said our goodbyes.
I ended up sleeping for the next three and a half hours.
When I woke up again, we were driving up to the military base where I guessed we were going to be stationed at.
I stretched out and looked at the other people on the bus.
Once again, they looked extremely excited, yet too disciplined to show it.
Again, not what one would expect from criminals or rebelling teens to do when faced with a semi prison system.
The female officer handed all the paperwork over at the gate and then we were allowed through.
This place looked like a mini town.
There were streets and houses and what looked like a massive school.
The bus pulled up in front of the school like building and we all got out.
I stuffed my phone and earphones into my pockets and looked around.
This place was amazing and really high tech.
I shook my head to clear my thoughts. I had to remember my goal.
To make so much trouble that they'll kick me out.
Just then our attention was called to a few people in uniform that were standing on the steps of the building.
"Welcome to Military Boot Camp."
