Of course none of the two slept, he's a vampire and she's creeped out.

The two were laying on their backs as they stared at the glow–in–the–dark stickers on her ceiling. All of which were basically from the solar system, her love for astrology and matter all at one is her room being the result. There was no denying how much green of a color she has covered.

❝ Give me a quote. ❞ She whispered out of nowhere, her hand on her belly as she listened for her own heartbeat and the crazy noise of the crickets outside her home.

He opened his mouth, but closed it again. He opened it again and the process went for how many times before he finally had enough guts to recite his favorite.  ❝ I'll follow you and make heaven out of hell, and I'll die by your hand— ❞

❝ —which I love so well. ❞ She finished, a sad smile on her lips and she felt the bed follow the casual flow when Emmett faced her sideways.  ❝ You know Shakespeare. ❞
She nodded yet her face was still straight ahead, her eyes hypnotized by the beautiful glow of the stickers that barely illuminated her room.

It's been hours, lots of hours and they decided to rest on the same bed. Just like the old times, there was no issue— just the two of them.

❝ Will you ever let me go? ❞ She asked, it was out of the blue. She never asked him about it, a small part of her wanted him to say that he'll finally let her go but another part told her that he needed her to stay.

Needed?

Needed her to stay.

Needed her to stay.

As if she is important, it made her look down at herself thinking about it.

❝ No, not yet. I hope, I hope you don't mind. ❞ For a moment she heard him, there were no masks. He was not that jock, he was not the player, he was not the playboy, he was just being himself spilling truth behind fear of her leaving.

No, I certainly do not mind.

Not at all.
