Our young lady continues to grow as time and her life progresses. She grows closer to another year of life. But she also seems to grow alone.
Our young lady is a modest one. She has no need for extravagant and gaudy belongings. She doesn't even wear bright colors. She is content with her small, simple, and natural lifestyle. She sticks close to her family and has a tight friend circle of people whom she cares for as dearly as family. But as life moves forward things begin to change. It is a natural phenomenon, one of which our young lady has expected. Though she never could expect just how much this particular battle would hurt.
Her tight circle of friends were split to opposite corners of the world as they went off to grow in their own way. Her siblings have done the same. Her parents had grown cold and distant from one another.
Our young lady now feels stranded and battled beaten on a deserted island. No way out and with waters so rough, no way for rescue. An island so small she fears to cry for her tears may flood the only thing that keeps her grounded.
She awaits like a character in one of the many cherished fairy tales she clung to as a child. Since then she has grown up, but she still holds them in her heart. As she has matured, she knows that life doesn't work out as well as those tales. There is no one to rescue her, no one to make all her problems solve themselves, no one but herself and her angel.
The only thing she has left to cling to is not tangible but is always a constant. No matter the changes He is always there guiding, caring for, and protecting our young lady.
Still our young lady continues to gather battle scars, and old wounds may reopen, but she knows that no matter what she must continue on. Though right now she lays wounded and stranded.
