Lunar Witness

There are many sides, deep sides, that rarely if ever see the light of day. The sun shines only on the sides we wish to show, and no matter how bright the sunlight may be there is always a shadow. But there comes a time where the sun moves on and everything is left in shadow. When cloaked with shadows new sides appear free and unleashed.
For our young lady this time is a time of ease as she shows more of her true self. Those around her tend to turn in with the sun, leaving our young lady to move around a quiet house as if she were just a ghost passing through the night. She feels free from judgment and often blooms with creativity.  It is in this time that she can let her personality flow as freely as the rushing river. Though there is only a lunar witness to view such a thing. The closest thing that the sun will ever view is what art our young lady creates in this time of inspiration.
The moon is witness to this phenomenon of fake facades being dropped, or even strengthened in some cases. Some are beautiful and enchanting whereas others are most unspeakable. There are some who may grow worse in the hours of shadow. Old scares from previous battles can fade or often reopen and leave the heart to ache until the sun shines once more. This can cause unease in what our young lady would view as the only hours of peace. She feels safe in the shadows so long as she knows that it's only her, her cat, and her guardian angel that are active. There are times when there are others who are active at this time and all sense of tranquil solitude is lost. Know one really knows what happens behind closed doors, nor should they wish to know. Little does anyone know what sides the lunar witness sees that the sun will never view.
