The year of twenty nineteen has been a year of lost battles and many many new scares and wounds. All things known and relied upon,  shattered.
Our young lady has a fanciful outlook on the world that surrounds her. She choses to live a fairy tale. Her world is as beautifully captivating as stained windows in a glorious cathedral. Her family, friends, and home are the depictions that show in each colorful window. Be it sunlight or moonlight the scenes shown brightly for years. Then came the battle of twenty nineteen.
The first thing that our young lady had lost was one of three good friends. That friend had to move away, then she went on a mission trip. This saddened our young lady but she was proud of her friend's mission. She could wish nothing but the best for her good friend.
The next attack shattered our young lady's entire world. Her family violently split apart. Such a world shattering event also caused our young lady to lose her childhood home, and half of her pets. Tension and contempt began to grow in the place that was once safe and loving. The family split apart and alienated from one another. No longer does our young lady have a home to feel safe and loved. Though some may offer refuge our young lady does not wish to be a bother nor burden to anyone, especially to those she holds dear.
Soon after this came yet another wave of destruction as what remained of her dear and cherished friends both moved away for college and work. As well as her younger brother left for his own mission trip. This leaving our young lady the loneliest she had ever been. She had no one to turn to for comfort, least not for fear of becoming a burden for whom ever she confided in.
Our young lady did try to reach out of her emotional vulnerability and find and find a friend. She chose to trust someone who has tried to get past her emotional barriers before much of this happened. Though it was a mistake to trust so fully so quickly. This friend was hurting as well and neither could properly help the other. Both only ever hurt the other, so they mutually agreed to part ways.
Some time passed and our young lady had thought she was doing fairly well at gathering the pieces when disaster struck once again as member of her self proclaimed second family had passed due to illness. All pieces were scattered once more and shattered further. Our young lady had begun to wonder how this happened and how anyone could bare it, especially herself.
A short while later, still in this small town, she found one of her favorite shops to visit was to close for good. Minor as this may seem, its timing couldn't have been worse.
Much too much has happened in the span of a single year to our young lady. The dreamy cathedral that stood strong and proud became ground zero. Though our young lady has been drowning in despair she continues on. She chose to see it as her origin story. This, her darkest hour, and not her end, but her beginning. She chose to rise again and to shine through the dark. There is always Light to follow even in the darkest times, one must simply choose to seek it. This is exactly what our young lady has done. She gathered the beautiful shards of what remained of her life as she knew it, and she will use them to create a chandelier to shine brightly and with many colors.
