The plan

The next day the atmosphere between the couple and Hongjoong was awkward. No words were exchanged and they didn't even look at each other. When all members finished their breakfast they left the table. Hongjoong was the last to go and locked himself inside his own room not opening for anyone who was knocking and just answered that he will write down some lyrics. Seonghwa was the only one who came back and took a seat across from San and Wooyoung.
After making sure that no one could listen to their conversation, Wooyoung started.

"Hyung, Hongjoong is really weird. I think he is suspicious and knows something. At first he tried to stop San from going to "bed" if it wasn't for you. Secondly yesterday night he knocked onto my door just to say goodnight. Hongjoong never knocked just to say goodnight. He looked really uncomfortable while standing in front of me. It seemed like something was definitely bothering him. He couldn't even look into my eyes. Hyung, you are close to him, could you please try to talk to him? asked Wooyoung.

"I know, he seemed a little bit weird to me too. I can't stand to see him sad and you both know why. We need to find out why he is acting like that" answered Seonghwa.

"Hyung, we know that your bond woth Hongjoong is strong. Maybe it is because he doesn't have someone to talk to. Like he doesn't trust us enough to tell us his problems" San said.

"I don't think that that's the case. He does have members to talk about his problems or insecurities. Like you said before he has me and he does talk to me about it. I think that he is just too stressed about our upcoming comeback schedule" answered Seonghwa.

"I will talk to him later and then I will tell you what's bothering him" Seonghwa added while standing up and moving to the door of the dining room.

"Thank you so much Hyung" the couple said in unison.

The three let out a chuckle and separated into their own rooms to get more sleep because soon they need to cut their sleeping hours into half.
