One week after San and Wooyoung had slept with each other Ateez sat together and had dinner. They just came back from the concert venue and were all exausted and hungry. Hongjoong still watched the couple closely and had hoped that he would get a glimpse of what was going on but still he had no idea at all. Hongjoong thought that he would look suspicious if someone catches him staring at the two so he turned his head to the left side where Seonghwa sat and was started because the older was looking at him. "Why are you looking at me like that?" Hongjoong asked and noticed that his hyung flinched. "Did I startle you?" Hongjoong added and grabbed Seonghwa's hand that was resting on the table. The older immediately pulled his hand back and started stuttering. "A..ahh... mianhae. I was just in thoughts. Don't worry" Seonghwa said and laughed shyly while blushing a little bit. "Can we talk about some things later when we are in our room? I need to ask you something really important." Hongjoong asked while shoving a spoon full of food into his mouth. "Yeah, sure. Just let me take a shower before." Seonghwa said and turned his head back to his plate so that he can continue to eat.
After they finished eating everyone went to their room to get some sleep. Seonghwa slowly walked behind Hongjoong, questioning himself what the younger one wanted to ask him. He seemed really serious earlier. Seonghwa didn't know when they got to their room and only noticed when the younger asked him to close the door - ripping him out of his thoughts. "You wanted to take a shower first?" asked Hongjoong and only got a nod before the older disappeared into the bathroom. "I will ask the other members if I can take a shower in their room so that I don't have to take a shower after you" said Hongjoong as he collected his pajamas and went to another room.
Hongjoong knocked on every room door only to get the answer that one of the roommates was already in the shower. As a result he was standing in front of Wooyoung and San's room - the last room where he didn't ask yet- and asked himself if he even wants to take a shower there or if he should just go back and wait until Seonghwa finishes. As he wanted to turn around and go back to his room again he noticed that San and Wooyoung's room door was not closed and ajar. Not thinking much the leader decided to open the door slowly and slipped quietly inside. What he saw made his stomach turn.
The two members were on one bed - the other bed didn't even seem like it was used - and were looking at each other. Wooyoung's hand stroked San's hair as he was lying on his side with his head on the olders chest. "Do you know how much I missed these times with you alone and no one else is watching, stroking your head and just enjoying your presence." Wooyoung said lovely while staring into the others eyes with so much pleasure that even Hongjoong, whose body was pressed to the wall while looking around the corner, saw it. "I missed these times as well. I am longing so much for you. Even when we had dinner earlier I wanted to jump up and sit on your lap" San said smiling while turning around and looking straight into his boyfriends eyes. "You are so cheesy today" Wooyoung laughed and closed the distance between him and his cute boyfriend. Hongjoong was shocked. He could't move away and felt like the world around him was just smashed. Seeing Wooyoung and San kiss as if there was no tomorrow made him sad and felt weird. He has liked Wooyoung for some time now and seeing him kiss San with so much passion made his heart hurt so much. He felt betrayed and questioned the youngers indications that he would like him as well. Looking around the corner again he saw that Wooyoung and San were almost naked and the now red haired boy was moaning under Wooyoung's touch. This was the moment where he finally got the courage to turn around and quietly make his way back to his and Seonghwa's room making sure to close the door tightly.
Back inside his room his tears finally escaped. Seonghwa was still under the shower so he could cry as much as he wanted. He quickly changed his clothes, fell down onto his bed, pulled the bedsheets up and continued crying until he heard the water in the bathroom was no longer running.
Ten minutes later Seonghwa came out of the bathroom and saw Hongjoong on his bed with tear strains on his cheeks and red eyes. "Hey, what happened? When did you come back and why are you crying?" Seonghwa asked concerned about the leaders well being. "I... I.. I can't talk about it right now, can you p.. please h.. hold me for a while? asked Hongjoong with a shaky voice as he streched his hands out to Seonghwa. The older immediately walked to the younger ones bed and sat beside him holding him tight as he cried his heart out. Seonghwa has never seen him cry and it made his heart ache.
After a while the sniffing became quieter and the body of the other trembled less and less. Seonghwa looked and noticed that the smaller one has finally fallen asleep. Getting up slowly he made sure to not wake up the younger one. When Hongjoong finally lay alone on the bed the eldest knelt beside the bed and looked at the face of the leader. He admired Hongjoong as he slowly stroked him over the head and the cheek. "I don't know what happened but I don't want to see you like that ever again" mumbled Seonghwa and slowly planted a kiss on the smallers forehead. "I like you so much Hongjoong-ah" Seonghwa added and bit down onto his lip before he walked over to his bed to sit down. Taking a few more glances at Hongjoong, Seonghwa turned off the light and lied down onto his bed. Hearing the smallers little snores, Seonghwa fell asleep faster than usual.
Hongjoong's heart was broken. Do you think that someone will come and save his heart or will he reject everyone who tries to come near him? Will Hongjoong accept the couples love? What will they say when they get confronted with the fact that Hongjoong knows of their secret?
Hello everyone. First I am sorry that I didn't update in a while. I had so much to do for school so that I couldn't get myself to write something.
