Theoretically this would be the last chapter. But I will write at least one more part. I'm kind of emotional just thinking about it. I've also started to write a new story 😋 The Introduction chapter will be uploaded on Monday.
When Hongjoong came back home it was already four in the morning. The dorm was quiet and compleately dark. He quickly made his way to his bed and drifted off within a few minutes.
On saturday, Hongjoong woke up to his phone ringing. He received a call from their manager, telling him to meet the CEO.
Only half an hour later, he sat in the CEO's office and waited for him to talk.
"You know that we let your fans decide if Wooyoung and San's relationship would be allowed, right?" The CEO asked him.
"Yes I know." Hongjoong said uninterested.
"Well, we, as in I and the whole managing crew, came to the desicion that it would be the best for them to separate. There are too many that couldn't accept them and your reputation is already starting to suffer because of that. We will give them time until thursday." The CEO said to Hongjoong, who suddenly was not as uninterested as a few seconds ago.
"Okay, thank you for letting me know. I will deliver these unfortunate news to the rest of Ateez." Hongjoong sadly answered but didn't really mean it.
When Hongjoong came back home he was compleately ignored by the rest of his group. He didn't know why and he was pissed because of that.
"Yah, why are you all treating me like that?" He spat out and received glances from Yunho, Mingi and Yeosang.
"Well, we don't want to talk to someone like you. You pilloried our friends, who were also yours." Mingi disappointedly said.
"What do you want now? You don't even have the courage to tell 'your crush' that you like him. I had the courage and won't give up on Wooyoung that easily!" Hongjoong proudly said.
"Why don't you get it? Wooyoung is taken. He and San love each other! Why do you want to destroy their happiness so badly?" Seonghwa said, not believing that the younger one was still clinging to the idea of separating the two.
"You know what? Just watch and be amazed!" With that Hongjoong left the living room and went into his room.
"Since when has his personality been this ugly? The youngest asked.
"If I knew I would tell you, Jongho." Seonghwa said, head hanging low.

Monday came by faster than they expected. They had a concert this afternoon and were currently backstage. The tension was clearly felt. It was the first concert for Wooyoung and San after they were outed as a couple. The two felt a little bit uncomfortable and hoped that the fans would decide in their favor and would accept them. If only they had known that the decision had already been made.
San and Wooyoung tried to do as little skinship as possible. Now that everyone knew, their touches got a completely different meaning on stage. Until they played Ateez's last song. <Thank You>
Wooyoung felt like he was saying goodbye. If only he knew how right he would be about that thought. The younger noticed that San was close to tears, so he did what his instinct told him and went over to his boyfriend. He just had to hug him to protect him and give him strength.
