Jack, Vanessa, Residents, and Waldo walked together through the halls of the Dark Palace. All was quiet again, too quiet.
"Jack, why'd you come for me?", said Waldo.
"To save you. I lost you once, I couldn't stand losing you again," said Jack.
"Listen to me, Jack. You're in danger! Grave danger!", said Waldo.
"What? How?", said Jack.
"I'm sure you're now fully aware of what Shadowking's plans are, right? Do you know about Operation: Discord?", said Waldo.
"Yeah, it's some weird deception plan. Shadowking is using King Stalin to fire some Holy Bomb Thingy at himself," said Jack.
"You do realize that the Holy Judgement will fire at this very location, right? The Council intends to fire it at Murguol! Guess what, we're on Murguol!", said Waldo.
"Oh crap! You don't mean?!", said Jack.
"Yes, Jack! Operation: Discord is more than just taking Oridia down! It's also about taking YOU down! Shadowking used me as bait to lure you into an ultimate death-trap! When Shadowking and Nousaurong infected my brain, I saw their thoughts! This was one of them!", said Waldo.
"What else did you see?", said Jack.
Waldo breathed heavily. Jack could see that he was cold with fear.
"Death," said Waldo, terrified.
"So this was a trap?! This plan was made just to kill me?! Is that why Lord Shadowking went super easy on me?! Did he want me to arrive at the Dark Palace?!", said Jack.
"Yes! Operation: Discord was made to take you down!", said Waldo.
"A plan like that takes time to write, not to mention tons of resources! How could someone possibly come up with a plan that flawless?!", said Jack.
"Lord Shadowking has had 900 trillion years to come up with a plan to get revenge on Oridia and the Freed Peoples. Shadowking has seen nearly every war in history, they call him the Forever Soldier," said Waldo.
"Then we just gotta take him down!", said Jack.
"No! Even if you DO take him down, he'll still kill you! He's probably gonna use himself as bait to lure you into a trap once more! He's gonna keep you occupied long enough until the Holy Judgement fires! We have to escape!", said Waldo.
"No!", said Jack.
"What?! DON'T YOU EVEN REALIZE THE SERIOUSNESS OF THE DANGER YOU'RE IN?!!!!!! IF THAT THING GOES OFF, YOU'RE GONNA DIE!!!!!!!!!! IF YOU DIE, THEN YOU CAN'T STOP NOUSAURONG!!!!!!!! IF YOU CAN'T STOP NOUSAURONG, THEN NO ONE CAN!!!!!!!!", yelled Waldo.
"But the radius of the Holy Judgement is so large that an entire star system can fit in it! Even if we got outta this place, we'd still be caught in the blast! Plus, I have faith!", said Jack.
"Faith?! In what?!", said Waldo.
"I have faith that someone out there is trying to stop the Holy Judgement! If dad takes Stalin down, then he'll stop that thing!", said Jack.
"Dad?! Oh wait, now I remember! You're talking about John, right?", said Waldo.
"Yes!", said Jack.
"So, what's he like? I have only heard about John Zar in Galtraxian history books. Is he as good as the legends say he is?", said Waldo.
"Heck no! He's WAY cooler in person! He has an awesome eyepatch and manly Jesus hair!", said Jack.
"So he's a pirate mixed with an angel?", said Waldo.
