Chapter Ten: The History Of Jack And Shawn

All of Klux's friends took Klux to the infirmary. The crowd gathered to watch the fight left.

The Agent Kids and the Jack Team were alone. Shawn was badly hurt, and laid on the floor. Jack offered to lend Shawn a hand to help him get off the floor, but Shawn acted bitter towards him.

"Are you okay?", said Jack.

"Leave me alone, loser!", growled Shawn.

Shawn scowled and slapped Jack's hand. He got up.

"I don't need your damn hand! I wanna kill that kid! If he ever gets outta the hospital, I'LL KILL HIM!!! I wanted to kill him so bad, but YOU just HAD to save me, ya moron!", yelled Shawn.

"I was trying to help! He was ready to kill you!", said Jack.

"I WAS READY TO KILL HIM TOO!!!!!!!! I don't need your help to kill Klux! I WANNA KILL HIM ALL BY MYSELF, I WANT THOSE LIGHT ELVES TO KNOW LOUD AND CLEAR THAT I AM NOT ONE TO PICK ON!!!!!! YOU SHOULD'VE LET HIM KILL ME!!!!!!!!", yelled Shawn.

"I lost so much, I can't lose you!", said Jack.

"What've you lost, Baby Wipes?! HUH?!!!!! WHAT'D YOU LOSE?!!!!!! Seems to me like you've RECEIVED a lot! You got your powers unlocked, yay for you, you lucky turd!", said Shawn.

"I lost my friends in two school shootings, I lost my friends during the Battle of Washington, D.C., and I lost my friends when the Blood Clan took over the world! Even though I hate your guts as much as you hate mine, we're freaking brothers, and we can't just watch as one of us is killed!", said Jack.

"Did John ever tell you of my true parentage?! John is not my father, he's just some random guy who briefly adopted me! My dad is Moloch, your father's enemy!", said Shawn.

"Fine, we're adopted brothers!", said Jack.

"Besides, you're actually half-cousins with Klux! So you're more of a family with that jerk than you are with me! SO WHY DOES IT MATTER IF I'M DEAD?!!!!!!!", said Shawn.

"We've been through a lot, dummy! We slept in the same room at the same orphanage, we went to the same schools, and we dealt with the same problems!", said Jack.

"Same problems?! SAME PROBLEMS?!!!!!! I have MORE problems than you now! You can beat your enemies a lot easier than I can, and that makes me ticked off! You're the Chosen One, a prophesied hero! What am I?! I am just another everyday victim of prejudice! I am just a Drow, and Moloch is my father! I ain't your bro, I'm one of the guys you have to kill! Your job is to destroy all forms of evil, so you should just destroy me!", said Shawn.

Shawn walked away and elbowed Jack as he left. Jack didn't see him for a long time.

The Agent Kids and the Jack Team went to the Infirmary to check on how Grandma Zar and Sensei Esorong were holding up.

"Mr. Shriek, how's grandma and Sensei?", said Jack.

"THEY'RE DOING SLIGHTLY BETTER, YET THEY STILL AREN'T GONNA MAKE A FULL RECOVERY!!!!!!! THEY'RE CURRENTLY SLEEPING, WHICH IS GOOD!!!!!!! NOW IS NOT THE TIME TO CHECK ON THEM, YOU MAKE TOO MUCH NOISE!!!!!!!!! WAIT HERE UNTIL IT IS SAFE TO SEE THEM!!!!!!!", screamed Mr. Shriek.

So Jack and his group sat in the waiting room. Resizagirl asked Jack why Shawn was super edgy all the time.

"Jack, I've been meaning to ask you, why is Shawn super edgy and scary all the time?", said Resizagirl.

"You're Waldo's girlfriend, right? Why do you ask?", giggled Jack.

"Shut up. The reason I'm curious is because, well, Waldo is kidnapped by those demon-worshippers. I feel like, you're the only ones who can save him," said Resizagirl.
