CHAPTER NINE:

TOGETHER AGAIN

Renesmee sat down on the floor against the wall. Justin stared down at her while Aro, Caius, and Marcus stared at her. All of them were waiting for Renesmee and Justin’s parents and families to come through that door. In five minutes, the plane that was holding their parents was going to land.

It was just those five that were in the room. Aro, Marcus, and Caius thought that they all should have the privacy that they needed. Renesmee and Justin were thankful for that. All of them were wearing new clothing that Aro had gotten his clan to buy for them. Renesmee and Justin were practically on their knees thanking Aro, but he wouldn’t listen to them and said that he was glad to help them and he thought that they should meet their parents in clothing that wasn’t worn out. Though the clothes weren’t special, Renesmee was still grateful for them.

Justin was now in blue jeans and a normal white t-shirt. William was wearing the same blue jeans, but a black t-shirt. Renesmee was wearing a white summer dress that was a high neck top and was knee length. Colton was now wearing black jeans and a grey t-shirt while Chelsea was wearing a dark blue t-shirt with a pair of faded black jeans. Carita was happy to wear her new pink summer dress that was fluffy. Renesmee giggled when she heard Carita say that she looked like a princess.

“Are you okay, Renesmee?” Justin asked her.

“I’m nervous.” Renesmee answered.

He knelt in front of her and rested his hands on her shoulders.

“What is there to be nervous about?” Justin asked her.

“I’ve been gone for five years. Did they change? I changed! I am with you and I have three kids. I’ve been through….I can’t even list what I’ve been through.” Renesmee answered.

He kissed her forehead and told her ignoring the watching leaders, “they’ll still love you. Their still you parents and your family. No matter if they changed. And you did change, but they will love Colton, Chelsea, and Carita and they will support you because of what happened to you.”

Renesmee gave a deep sigh before staring at him and giving him a weak smile.

“You’re right.” Renesmee told him.

“Aren’t I always?” he asked.

She shook her head and gave him a small punch jokingly. They smiled at each other and Renesmee then looked at the leaders.

“What are you going to ask them? Or tell them?” Renesmee asked Aro.

“I will not tell any of them what I saw from you. We are just going to tell them what you believe with Joham and that they are welcomed to stay here. Also, we will tell them that everyone else will be coming in a week to tell them everything as well. Justin mentioned that he and William would help train them.” Aro said.

“I can do that too.” Renesmee told him.

“I was hoping so. Looking into your memories you are quite a fighter.” Aro said.

The thought suddenly came back to Renesmee. She thought about it a couple of times before, but Aro was never around to ask.

“Aro…do you know about Maria?” Renesmee asked him nervously.

He nodded.

“I also told Marcus and Caius. We will have a talk with Mr. Hale about Maria, but as we can tell from you memories, she is not a threat.”
