I thought they would leave me alone after hearing my answer but when Cassie forced me to go to school with them, the thought of gagging and puking on the side never left my mind. That method seemed easier to commence.

Just about 7:30 am, we reached the academy. It only took us a bit of time for our awkward journey since the dorm was quite in the same vicinity as the school.

The unbearable part was while walking on our way, even though we all were wearing the same uniform, everyone was still quite in awe with Cassie and April. April was on Cassie's left side while I was on her right. It was quite uncomfortable getting all these stares and gawking from everyone. I mean those aren't for me but it still made my stomach churn. They were probably gushing about Cassie coming back.

Just as I was finally able to breathe upon reaching the hallways, Gab and Danny greeted both the girls while I froze in the spot. Daniel isn't exactly a depiction of a perfect guy and growing up, I've seen all his flaws. And yet he still has an effect on me. I bet this is all because of my raging 15-year-old hormones. Ah, being too young is such a curse.

My eyes met Gabriel's and he had this awkward smile plastered on his face. We've never actually interacted with each other and all the knowledge I have of him are all hearsay. The most information I got about him was from when April and I were still friends, since she had the biggest crush on him. I wonder if she still thinks of him that way.

Though it kind of sucks for her since everyone in the school knows Gab is madly in love with Cassie. News of dating didn't really spread so I'm guessing Cassie is still single and this puts him in such a strange predicament.

"You're joining us, Katya?" Danny voiced out.

I don't know what kind of response he was expecting but I just grimaced and said, "Sorta. Where's Zeke anyway?"

But just as he was about to answer, April pulled the boys away. She whisper-shouted, "We don't want anyone suspecting something! Everyone should just keep doing what they normally do." And that snapped everyone back to their senses. Cassie's group walked away from me in an instant but Cassie gave me a short wave and a smile, as if to apologize for this kind of situation. Not that I blame her though.

Turning away, I started walking towards my own locker. As I looked ahead, Zeke's figure came into view. When he saw me, he reached for his blazer pocket and slowly tried getting in my line of way. He acted like he didn't see me as he looked to his right and tried saying hi to a random person. Because of that action, we bumped into each other and he managed to slip the note inside my blazer pocket.

Reaching for the note in my pocket, I had crumpled it a bit. My line of thought was disturbed by Sera's hand on my shoulder. I must have been really distracted not to have noticed her.

"I hear Cassie's back," she uttered.

Turning my eyes away from her, I replied, "Yeah, I saw her a while ago."

"And that she brought you along with her to school. What's that about? What aren't you telling me?" she continued. Oh wow, I didn't think I'd be news-worthy enough for this shithole.
