Family Meeting

Caroline was at her locker when she felt her phone buzz and saw a text from her mom "Family Meeting after school and by family meeting we mean Baker/Barnes." 

She smiled at her phone and shook her head. "I take it you got the same text" Bucky said as he came over to her. 

"Yeah..I love when they are like and by the family we mean the whole damn family." she said with a smile. 

"Yeah I know.. well I'm off to walk Kaylee to class see you after school." Bucky said 

"Yeah..I have to get class myself.' she said then she felt an arm around her waist.

"I believe that's my job to make sure you get to class safe." Brody her boy friend came up behind her. 

She laughed and said "Yeah I know." as she kissed his cheek. 

"Hey Barnes." Brody said

"Hey Jackson take care of our girl will ya? I'll see you later Caroline." Bucky said 

"Will do Barnes." Brody said

"See you later." Caroline said 

She walked off with Brody as Bucky went back to Kaylee who was at his locker. 

After school they rode home with their siblings they were sophomores now and their siblings were juniors and seniors. They all went into Caroline's house and put their books in the kitchen. 

"In the living room guys." Melanie said 

They all gathered into the living room and all sat down on the couch. Caroline sat down beside Bucky and put her legs up on his lap and he pulled her closer and started to play with her long blonde hair. 

"Okay guys here's the deal. Over the last several weeks we have been trying to plan a family vacation we haven't done one in awhile and with Rebecca and Oliver graduating this year we felt that we should atleast get one in before they leave for college." Winnie said 

"Okay, So where are we going?' Brittany said 

James said "We are going to a ski resort in Aspen Colorado." 

"So are like renting a whole hotel floor or something" Caroline said 

"No..we bought a vacation house." Carter said 

"A house.. that's big enough for all of us." Rebecca said 

"Yes.. it had a indoor pool and hot tub. A gym a theatre room and family room. A huge kitchen and big living room with a fireplace. They are going to decorate it for us for Christmas." Carter said 

"So how do bedrooms work? All the boys in one room and girls in another." Bucky said 

"No.." Melanie said 

"Barnes kids in one room and Baker kids in another" Liam said 

"No." Winnie said 

"Well.." Caroline said 

"Oliver and Liam get their own rooms. Rebecca and Brittany will share a room." Carter said

"And we get our own rooms" Caroline said as she looked down. Bucky lifted her chin and said "It's okay.." 

"We thought about this long and hard. We went back and forth on this decision. Orginally the plan was that but we want to be able to trust you two that you two know the rules and it was easier to make this decision cause we had to remember that you both are in relationships. So the other bedroom is a shared bedroom. It has two beds in it that will be your alls room." James said 

"You two will have to work out a system cause it comes with it's own bathroom but just like all the other bathrooms in the house it has glass doors. All the houses we looked at had the same bathrooms there was no way of getting around it." Carter said 

"Do you two understand the rules? No sneaking into each other's beds after we all have gone to sleep do you understand?" James said 

"Yes sir" Bucky said 

"Yes sir." Caroline said 

"Now..we will discuss the trip more as we get closer to Christmas break. Now go do your homework guys." Winnie said 

"Yes ma'am" they all said and headed into the kitchen and all sat down and did their homework. Carter and James left to pick up some pizza and pop for dinner.
