Emancipated Papers

A few weeks later they were sitting at lunch when Wanda sat down beside her and Caroline said " Hey Wanda do you think I could come by your house later? I want to talk to your mom about something I have been doing research on." 

"Yeah sure.." Wanda said 

Bucky heard her and he said "You are really serious." 

"Buck..I will follow your parents rules of the house but if my dad doesn't want me to be a part of his family anymore then I don't want any ties to him anymore. I will still keep my relationships with my siblings but he's keeping my mom from me Buck. He's changed her phone number." she said with tears in her eyes. 

He wiped her tears and he said "Okay.." 

"And besides your dad is a defense attorney Mrs Maximoff is a family law lawyer." she said 

"I know.." He said as he kissed her nose. 

Brody and Kaylee could see them and he said "They are so sickening. She never looked at me like that or smiled that big." 

"I know the feeling Brody.." Kaylee said as she felt her heart break just like it did the day that Bucky broke up with her. 

Bucky ran hand up her shirt and placed it on her growing bump that was barely a bump. "I love you and our baby' he whispered. They still haven't told any one about the baby and since basketball season was over no one noticed that she had quit cheering. 

After school she and Bucky went over to Wanda's house. "Hey mom Caroline wants to talk to you about something." Wanda said 

"In my office honey." Angelina said 

She walked into the office with Bucky behind her. "Hey Caroline what can I do for you?' Angelina said 

"Um I was wondering if you could do me favor?' she said 

"Sure honey whatever it is." Angelina said

Caroline took a deep breathe and said in a shaky voice "Get me emancipated." 

"Honey.. what happened?' Angelina came over to her and leaned against the desk. Bucky rubbed Caroline's back and she said "I got pregnant by Bucky.. we told them and dad went off on everyone and he kicked me out told me that I was never allowed to come back in his house. He dropped all my stuff off at Bucky's house the next morning while I was still asleep and he's cut off my communication with my mother and if it hadn't been for James and Winnie cleaned out my savings account he would have taken my money he's already closed my trust fund. He tried to hit me." 

Bucky said "And it's not the first time he's tried to either or his temper gets the best of him." 

Angelina said "I got all I need honey. I'll get them drawn up and approved my a judge and then they will be served with the papers. All communication will be done by me and their lawyer and James." 

"Yes Angelina.." he said 

"It may be best if you two lay low as in not staying where the fire is. Is there a place you two can stay till this blows over." Angelina said 

"Yeah" he said as he wiped Caroline's tears. 

"Good I'll be in touch with you all and your parents James.. just keep her and that baby safe and I'll take care of the rest." Angelina said 

"Thank you." Caroline said

"And it's on the house guys I've known you two for a long time no need in paying me." Angelina said 

"Thank you." they both said and they headed back to Bucky's house. 

Bucky told his parents and James said "I agree with Angelina. You all back several bags and go stay out at mom's house she would love to have you all out there. She loves when you visit James. I'll keep the fire at bay here and hold everything down here with your mom. She or your grandmother can take you all to your appointments till school lets out." 

"Thanks for understanding dad' he said 

They loaded up his truck and her jeep that James bought her for her birthday since her dad took her car as well. She and Bucky drove all the out to his grandma's house who lives out in the country side of town. 

A few days later Melanie and Carter were in the office during his lunch. There was a knock on the door and he said "Come in.." 

"Mr Carter Baker and Mrs Melanie Baker." the courier said

"yes." they both said

"You both have been served." he said as he hands the papers to Carter. 

Carter opened up the papers and Melanie said "What is it honey?'

Carter threw his office door open and went down the hall and walked into James' office and said "What the hell have you done? Did you do this?' 

 "No.. she did it all on her own. She came to me and asked me if I could help but I told her that she needed a family law lawyer so she went to Wanda's mother check the damn lawyer name before you come busting into my office. That's my son she's with not some boy she got at school. Someone you use to consider  a son till she got pregnant by him. I guess now is a good time to let you know that I'm severing our law partnership. I'm in the process of finding me my own office and letting my clients know as well. Now get the hell out of my office." James said as he slammed the door in their face. 

Melanie took the papers out of Carter's hand and said "Oh my god.. she wants to sever ties with the family." 

"Well she wants to be a big girl and we will see how well she does without her savings." Carter said 

They both signed the papers and he called the bank to close out her savings account. "We are sorry Mr Baker that account has already been closed out." the teller said 

"Excuse me?" he said

"Yeah a Caroline Bristol Baker came in with James Barnes and he closed it out and they took all the money out about a week ago." the teller said 

A few days later Angelina called Caroline to tell her that they signed the papers and she would get something in the mail in a few days saying everything had been approved. "Thank you Angelina." she said then she rolled back over to Bucky.

He smiled at her as he pulled her closer to him. "What?' she whispered 

"it always so comforting when we lay like this when I can just stare into your eyes." he whispered 

She smiled and looked then back at him. "Maybe because we have done it our whole lives." she whispered 

"And I'll do it for the rest of mine" he whispered as he kissed her and he whispered "My sweet Caroline oh how I love you darlin." in between kisses then he rolled over on her and he started to make love to her as they continue to have a passionate make out session till he spilled into her. The next day Winnie took them to their doctor's appointment and she was 14 weeks along and Dr Carlton said " Okay guys we are doing good. Next month I'll be able to tell you if the baby is a boy or a girl." 

They both smiled and said "Can't wait."
